TEXAS Veterans Benefits that will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

You all should have talked about who qualifies for the Hazlewood Act?
In order to be eligible to receive a Hazlewood Act Exemption, a veteran must demonstrate that he or she was a Texas resident at the time of entry into military service, entered the service in the State of Texas, or declared Texas as his/her Home of Record at the time of entry as indicated on his/her DD214. Example....I am retired military, born in Texas and retired in Texas but enlisted in Kentucky (Army brat) so I dont qualify.

How far back does the Hazelwood act go? I was in the military in the mid-80’s, I live out of state but will be retiring in Texas eventually.
