First of all Timmy, you're amazing... the thing that they're calling a "Manhattan" where I'm from in the Midwest we call it an open faced roast beef sandwich. Yes the bread gets soggy and the potatoes aren't always on point, so eat all the components together and it's fantastic. I still make it every once in awhile.

You need to go back for their summer menu. And call ahead for their chocolate peanut butter banana cream pie.

My husband is a disabled war veteran with a service dog trained by a veterans organization and they wouldn't seat us at yoders. We were so dumb we stayed for like 40 minutes because they had an excuse or two at first.

Iif you want real amish food made by Amish and mennonites travel to Shipshewana indiana. Blue Gate restaurant, Essenhaus etc horses carriages , authentic amish farms and stores. Food incredible.

Review idea...How about doing some food reviews based on geography / cultures ?
Example, Middle east week...eat Middle eastern dinners for a week. Asian week. Indian week, Russian week...ect
Just dinners though...and by week I mean 5 days. Working weeks....You will probably need the weekend to recover. lol
