Looking good! 1 small step for man !
ОтветитьSweet
ОтветитьGoing to go with the same color as the original body?
Side note.... now you need a separate series to show what your wife builds out of the crate. LOL
AND A FREE GARAGE WITH EVERY PURCHASE😊
ОтветитьThat beautiful wooden crate must be worth $1000 just on it’s own!
ОтветитьIf time has a value to this gentleman he’s probably avoided about 500 hours or two years hard work!
ОтветитьThe shell looks beautiful as it is, I would never have thought they would look this good with just some primer!
ОтветитьI used to work opposite them and di some work for them. Was given a guided tour of the place. Fascinating. Worth a visit if you are in the UK. By appointment only though.
ОтветитьHow exciting, want one of those under my tree for Christmas !
ОтветитьGreat video 'wheeler dealers' did an episode where you can watch them building these
ОтветитьFollowing!
ОтветитьBest unboxing in the world, ever. "I've never had a rust free Mini ever". Has anyone? 😊
ОтветитьWhat's your plans for it.
Standard mini or something a bit more 🤔
The music is complete crap and isn't necessary
ОтветитьWhat's up with the rear seems ? . . . they look horribly welded or something.
ОтветитьDo all you can to rust-proof your shell before building, it`ll be worth it.
ОтветитьWhat’s the price?
ОтветитьGenuine I wouldn't call it! Reproduction at best...
ОтветитьLooks like you bought it from mini sport in Padiham Lancashire England... am i right?? I just live in the town next to it. Small world 🌎.
ОтветитьWhen’s the next video coming?
ОтветитьThank you!!!!! ive been waiting to buy a shell from them until I saw an actual video of it. I am going to buy one now! Did you order the subframe/glass separate? or did it come with it?
ОтветитьJust like Mr Bean
ОтветитьHave you got any further with this project? Maybe tone down the music more, and the chipmunk voices.
Ответитьkill the music, ruins whole video. Unwatchable!
Ответитьto bad its not a mk1
ОтветитьI'm only half way through and the day dreams are running wild. tHanks for the video!
ОтветитьThey should have never stopped make them as they where near perfect for todays citys .
Ответить'Bout time for that next video on shipping details ect eh?
ОтветитьIs there any more coming up any time soon? I'd love to see the car being built up! Hope you didn't quit 😀
ОтветитьWhen it comes to a properly deseamed roundnose Mini, how much extra space (in mm / inches) is liberated roughly in the already cramped engine bay in both width and length?
Ответитьwhy didnt you just slide the box out... and there would be no chance of damaging the body shell
Ответитьany updates ?
ОтветитьIf this was mine
Cut floors. Tube chassis on pro quad arms 2 650 bike motors to rev to the moon plus bang shifts 1 motor per rear wheel, buggy rack n pinion, pro racing pedal box, Hoon stick to slide side ways, JDM or RALLEY wheels, maybe fiberglass doors hood and trunk
Beautiful body
I am English and have owned around 40 classic Minis in my time. As an aircraft engineer by trade I do all the maintenance myself and have fixed most things on a Mini. I still have the David Vizard book called "Tuning A series engines", a bible for Mini owners.
One tip that I would give you is to have the rear subframe stripped, galvanised and repainted with black epoxy paint. Have changed a few as they are the first things to rot, but they last a lifetime after galvanising.
I shall follow your journey with interest from France, where I now live.
