Would be sweet if we could pick a civ and stay playing as that civ
ОтветитьI like Machiavelli because +400 gold from 4 civs in early game can set up alot momentum
ОтветитьSorry but this game is bad, just bad. Horrible design choices and then you come to the end spending hours of building up and it just ends without the opportunity to continue. Just do not get why everything in this game from UI to gameplay (twice the game resets and cities are suddenly towns again????) is worse then civ6 which to be fair was worse then civ5. Hope they redesign, but fear this is the last CIV i bought.
ОтветитьThere is no ZOC(zone of control) like civ6. Opponent make city next to player’s city which is annoying.
Also, opponent will try to build a city in nonsense place when all of their cities are taken over in order to escape losing a game. It’s so annoying that opponent will try to survive by making a city without ZOC
Pls make a game like civilization2 call of the power , other games(civ3-4-5-6-7) not so good and cannot playing also they are so complicated. Call of the power was the best so pls make a game like call of the power
ОтветитьI’m on my first run with iban battuta, and damn I’m rich
ОтветитьUseful information, the narrator is very whiny and sounds like this is geared towards children
Would appreciate a different style of voiceover in the future
Thanks Quill!! amazing as always. I always know which civs I want to play, but was struggling in picking a leader to main. At least at first! this breakdown has made it a lot easier :)
ОтветитьCharlemagne with Maurya is scary strong.
ОтветитьCIV 5 + CIV 7 GRAPHICS = TOP GAME
ОтветитьHow to stop your game from crashing???
I have an up to date PS5. Up to date Civ 7 game with the founders edition. WiFi is strong.
In the Modern Era it keeps crashing every 2 turns. WTF
Can anyone help????
Cash grabbing, bot army sending, review faking billion dollar company. Civ died because of money
ОтветитьPls make civ 2 call of power
ОтветитьThe best part about these tutorial videos is when different creators contradict eachother on what bonuses are (or aren't) good based on whether they look at them at first glance or whether they actually dove into the numbercrunching math under the hood.
ОтветитьLove Trung Trac on Khmer
Ответитьgood stuff 😃
Ответитьquill18 <3
ОтветитьSo funny that you mention Confucius as a bro. He was the very first guy to go to war with me and absolutely decimated me lmao I still have no idea what I did wrong in his eyes I was trying to be friendly with everyone and suddenly had all these troops banging down my doors 🥲 trauma
ОтветитьWe want Arabic language if possible
ОтветитьTHEY DESTROYED CIV FRANCHISE
ОтветитьLove the positivity here. A lot of people seem to forget how messy most of the civs have been at launch. The criticisms are valid, but I have faith in the team’s track record that they will iron out the kinks quickly
ОтветитьAs if people didn’t understand how it works—they’re just mocking these useless combinations that will create unnecessary imbalances. They want to play with historical leaders without having to deal with penalties, but most importantly, without being forced into a phased game that requires switching nations and, on top of having little AI, features a tiny map that must end automatically before, for example, the usual choice of total military conquest.
They don’t want to be limited in the number of cities, nor have their momentum cut off at the end of an era only to start over from scratch, and so on... The gameplay is bad, and no patch will change that.
If the AI doesn't beat you to Petra, is this even a true Civ title?
Ответитьquilllllllllllllll
ОтветитьTotal garbage, I have played civ series since the start. Started playing games in 1978. How can any of you play this version of Civ? Worst version since 3. It reminds me of Revolution and Colonization games more then a typical civ game. over 30 years and I am done no mudding can save this version! Sorry to say peace
ОтветитьIt’s a great base game but I’m already bored by the game. I’ll come back to it in a couple expansions. Also Maps are awful release the editor we can do better.
ОтветитьI played Civ 7 a bit and honestly....it feels like Firaxis used Civ 7 to reboot the franchise. Alot of features were removed as well as re-added when compared to previous Civ games. The whole choose your leader and then your civilization comes straight from Civilization IV (4). They removed religions from the game which had been a major feature goin back since Civ IV. Then they brought back unit stacking in form of using Commander units to do so. I always hated the unit stacking that Civ 1 to Civ 4 had. I have won and lost wars due to the unit stacking thing. Lost more than I've won because the computer players (AI) would stack so many of them that it's like they unleashed Isengard onto Helm's Deep kind of thing and I would never be prepared for it due to balancing out building up my cities and my military. The ages of civilization is also much smaller. Took out like half the ages/eras that previous games had. Now not everything about Civ 7 is bad to me. I did like how they did the tech/civic trees. City building seems to take what Civ VI (6) did and took it a bit further. The whole navigating rivers was an awesome thing I wish previous Civ games would have done a long time ago but map makers would have to create gaps in the shape of rivers to make them able to be traveled on which made the maps either horrible or good depending on the map. I also didn't like the whole evolving civilizations..such as the Han Empire evolving into the Ming Empire or the Roman Empire transforming into the Normans or Spanish and then the American Empire as the eras/ages progress. That one bothered me a bit as it felt like they took out individuality from the civilizations. It reminded me of when Microsoft's Age of Empires III game when it came to causing a revolution within your nation/civilization you played as in AoE III...which stripped your empire of their individuality and simplified them for the most part which made the game boring and dull in the long haul.
Overall, i give Civ 7 a mixed bag especially in comparison to Civ 6. In it's current update and set up, Civ 7 doesn't quite hold up to Civ 6 or even Civ V (5) but that could be because its still early with it and it just came out on the 11th of February. It does honestly feel like Civ 7 merely a reboot of the franchise...resetting it back to Civ IV with some updated and added features. As well as removed features too. I'm not sure if the Civ franchise even needed to be rebooted given how great Civ 6 was. But then again, perhaps the series is so far along that older generation gamers are retiring from playing video games while newer generation gamers and coming up and feel lost with all new stuff in the game and they feel the need to simplify the game for them while not completely starting from scratch all over again. Who knows. But that's my thoughts on all this and I've been playing Civilization games since Civ II (2).
I just want to remind that the developers of the game support russian terror. Don't buy this game. Don't support the murderers.

Great decision having Quill18 do a tutorial series! 🎉
Ответитьashoka is really simple. he was the first leader i played because of that
ОтветитьNo Korea? No Turtle ships? Will I buy Civ 7? No thanks!
ОтветитьI was in middle school when Civilization V was released. I started with Civ IV. I never thought I'd play Civ V from 2010 for the rest of my life. GIVE ME CIVILIZATION V GRAPHICS IN 2025! If it ain't broke, why do you keep on trying to fix it? You had a really good thing going.
ОтветитьI'm only up to turn 100 or so.. I just got it.. I def like the feel of it so far much better than Civ 6.. The gameplay feels a little more like Civ 4 tbh I haven't gotten to the part where it changes up yet.. Maybe the game should have been called Civilizations?!
ОтветитьLoved the video! Thank you 👍
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьThis is a great, concise explanation of leader abilities. Quill18 wastes no time and has lots of enthusiasm to boot! Excellent work Quill18! Kudos to Firaxis for picking him for this explanation too.
ОтветитьPliss make CIV 8 Fast, because 7 is trash.
ОтветитьMy latest game is Ashoka starting as Muary, right now turn 30 in modern I'm making+815 Happiness, and yeah I'm steam rolling
ОтветитьMy first game was with Xerxes because of beard. Had a blast!
ОтветитьI hope Firaxis patches the game to write the name of the civ each leader is leading. I can never remember the symbols except for Greece's
Ответитьquill18 hes the guy who first got me into civ
ОтветитьJust pick machiavelli he's the best
ОтветитьSurprised Isabella and Himiko weren't mentioned, top tier imho
ОтветитьAshoka + Maurya is the best non militaristic start!
