ОтветитьDr Browning you need to distinguish between coffee and caffeine, when you say don't take these supplements with coffee when you mean caffeine. I drink organic swiss water decaffeinated coffee, my absorption of these vits and minerals are not compromised as my blood tests showed my levels are very high.

ОтветитьReally - wait an hour after waking before having coffee?! I have to be caffeinated before hitting the freeway for the commute to work. Lucky to get 6 hours of sleep as it is. Where am I getting that extra hour after waking before I get my coffee?

It is really mostly theoretical and although you can measure a very slight increase in kidney output from high doses of coffee it's not significant and does not even compare with the effects of alcohol for example on antidiuretic hormone. Please stop repeating Urban myths as though they are fact

ОтветитьI break the capsule on my vitamin B complex and vitamin C (not ascorbic acid), pour them into my coffee cup then brew my coffee into the cup. Stir and drink casually first thing in the morning. Coffee does not block vitamin absorption. Coffee blocks mineral absorption as do all plant foods. Plant fiber also sweeps you’d vitamins and minerals right out of your stomach and intestines. What’s the difference if you take your vitamins with coffee or any other liquid including water? It’s all going to your bladder as quickly as coffee. You will never absorb a lot of your supplements. You w are not designed to absorb nutrients that way. I have been a carnivore 5 years with coffee the exception. Never healthier since high school. BMI 23 at 65. Blood panels normal and inflammation non existent.
