ОтветитьI got a treadmill desk for work and it changed my life. I started walking 10 miles a day. In the first 10 days I lost 10 lbs. Had no idea this would happen. But there are so many other benefits to walking - its incredible. Walking at work changed my life. I enjoy work so much more now. Sitting down all day is the worst. Whatever you do just start walking more.

ОтветитьOn average I typically walk 3hrs a day which for me is around 25K steps. This is in addition to whatever lifting or cardio I do.
To me it is an enjoyable way to pass the time listening to podcasts and being outside. Plus it's easy and free. LOL
Walking is a life-saver.

ОтветитьI usually walk 1 too 2 miles every other day it helps to break it up throughout the week too give body rest. It hurts at first down on my lower legs but after 5 minutes body is warmed up enough and it starts feeling good. Take a water bottle with you and walk when it’s little cooler outside so body temp dose not increase too much. A good walk should leave you little sweaty at the end if you are not sweating a bit you didn’t do enough.

ОтветитьI walk 3.5 miles to and from work combined. started that job about 2 months ago and man! can I tell you I haven't felt better in my life. my mood, stamina, confidence, self esteem and overall energy is through the roof. can't say it'll be the same for you but I HIGHLY recommend you start walking.

ОтветитьWalking is so good for you. Physically it builds good leg strength and helps with weight-loss, and mentally, it is calming. Though in regards weight-loss, walking will definitely help, but if you don't change your eating habits, it won't have much benefit.
