This video is timely! I just finished playing pattern tetris with my remnant. 😆 Why did you end up cutting the fabric cross grain? Is the fabric not gonna shift over wearing? Especially that the fabric is shifty...? Sometimes I wanna cut the fabric cross grain for the same reason but I'm afraid it's not gonna hold up over the years.
ОтветитьOh I love the feel of silk ! It turned out really nicely, just the right amount of style. Great project.
ОтветитьThe top is simple but very pretty. Beautiful work as always.
ОтветитьHe white looks som fresh and light for summertime.
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful and so simple yet elegant
ОтветитьAmei! Ficou absolutamente Linda!❤
ОтветитьSimple top but pretty, elegant and versatile ❤
ОтветитьYet another ingenious method of combining scraps to make an absolutely exquisite top! You are such an inspiration and the best teacher I have ever had the privilege of being taught by. Thank you for you!
ОтветитьBeautiful I must try this
ОтветитьAnother beautiful scrappy design! Always so inspirational ❤
ОтветитьI really love this and I actually have a small scrap of silk to replicate the top of your blouse. Awesome, THANKS!
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьAbsolutely elegant, beautiful and well made. I love how you lined it and the inside finish is just exquisite. I got so many ideas from watching this video❤
ОтветитьI am very interested in how you hemmed the white inner and outer layers separately on this delightfully sophisticated
blouse. I have never considered how I would do such a project but i think it might be a PERFECT solution to a scrap project I have been brainstorming about that is using a sheer knit over some kind of either woven lining type fabric or another lightweight but not transparent knit of the same color (hopefully)y).😉
Beautiful top.
ОтветитьI love that phrase, " pattern tetris". It describes the process perfectly. I always enjoy these fabric scrap projects. The results are always so polished and intentional looking rather than random patchwork..
ОтветитьHow do you mark the sewing lines on the fabric? I assume you do this before you cut them out?
ОтветитьVery nice top. Your explaining is very clearly and helpful
ОтветитьThis top is
beautiful. It is a pattern I've frequently used, so simple to make and so comfortable to wear.
Loved the details of front split and separately hemming the lining. I watch for those details to make my dressmaking professional. Thank you Alisa.
Ответитьthat is cute
ОтветитьLovely! Do you think this could be made into a reversible top?
ОтветитьThat is so creative. I have plenty of scraps to make a top good ideas thank you.
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьBoth tops are beautiful with this fabric.
ОтветитьHi beautiful lady how are you doing. I'm very happy to hear you. Lovely video thanks for this lovely idea
ОтветитьHello, where did you get the straight pins from? I would love to purchase those pins.
ОтветитьWell done. Your new top is beautiful. I would have given up (because there was so little fabric to work with).
ОтветитьAlisa I love your videos. Thank you for all your dedication and skill. I’d love you to do a video showing how to upcycle a poncho into a long sleeved sweater. Is that something you could do? I have a beautiful cashmere oversized poncho but I don’t wear it but I think I would if it was a pullover/sweater.
ОтветитьSo cute
ОтветитьLove the first top you showed!
