I watched this video, it was really informative with good content, suggest me Eric can I pursue career in predictive analytics I have 8 years experience in operations did my Post Graduation in Tourism Managment, for future potential in analytics do I qualify to go for this course with a non math or statistics educational background.

Nice video. I need to advise a girlfriend who is doing mathematics to write her thesis in insurance. Please can you tell me some of the issues that predictive analytics, big data, mathematics/stats innovation could solve for the industry in the near future? It is very important, so I would be very happy.

Is the Predictive Analytics certificate program biased towards business applications (e.g., marketing) or does it have a more generic focus on the concepts, tools, etc.?

UCI Extension Predictive Analytics program is terrible.  Their reading materials have SO MANY  typos.  They teach you how to point and click the software Statistica, KNIME, Excel to do predictive modeling.  The worst course in the program is Data Preparation.  For all courses in the program, they have you watch videos and they are mostly outdated.  The videos are not prepared well (except for Business Goals course).  The instructors are not serious.  They are very sloppy.  They seldom answer students' questions and emails.  When they do, their responses are too late for the homework.  You will spend $7,000-$8,000 for learning only 5% of what you should learn to actually do Predictive Analytics.

Predictive analytics fail hahaha.

Nothing useful here. The guy is just promoting his book. You won't learn shit.
