Big tune! Better than the original, I'd say.

Contentious, Tim. I'm minded to agree with you, however the original has a certain timeless, ethereal and magical quality. I remember when the first came out and no-one had heard amens compressed in that way with the simple subs. I saw a club of 2500 people go absolutely BATSHIT to the original. I think this remix - I love it but - the intro is clearly the best bit & should roll for longer. It always bothered me, that. Drops too quickly. Could have played with us for a little while longer.

I remember first hearing this track in the Que club in Birmingham and the sound system in there was just naughty and in the end of 93 early 94 the sound was becoming quadraphonic and at this time just before the drum and bass Pop killed it's arse and it went all dark and gangsta and commercial the vibe was electric and break beat style what a time it was for the jungle massive!

Used to be a Back2Basics record shop in Wednesbury when I was a youth....always banging DnB at high volumes in the middle of a pensioner riddled town!! 😁😁😁

Looking back now and being at the very beginning of the jungle I've always said 94 was peak don't care what anyone else says anyway from 91 to 94 the sound because of the development and progression from the hip hop style fast breks by 94 i can honestly say that regardless how nasty your home speakers were the quadraphonic sound which had never been so surrounding unless you were hearing it on the real big speaker lay outs you had never seen or heard the jungle and when i say seen it was mathematical stuff the sounds and bass and beats woul cross into just two opposite and then round and back up down it was wild... Some events were not as good but some would go to town and didn't care about the flashing lights and stuff but the system was all that mattered....this gun shot style horns 94 was a classic example of what I mean....
