I do love these cyberpunk esc EVs or conventional engine mid size or compact cars. This is the way I wish electric cars where more like. Futuristic but has that “hot hatch 80s” style. I don’t mind cameras and monitors it’s cool it’s bold and has the futurisma in it.

If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it. Jonny leaves the disappointing range till last.

Just watched this video after seeing the Fiat Abarth EV video. How did I miss this one? If I had £40k spare and was in the market for a city car I would 100% buy a Honda E. What a beautifully designed car! Love the fact you can have an aquarium and play your Nintendo in it. Having just bought the new civic hybrid it’s funny to see so much of the switchgear from the E carried over. I wish though that they had included those wing mirrors. How clear was that view in the pouring down of rain?! Great for motorway driving and for me getting in and out of my garage. I would be interested to see what Johnny thinks of the new civic, which I personally think is a fantastic car and I’m very happy with. Love the design of the Honda E. The dash seemed reminiscent of the 80’s prelude too. 😍👏🏼

I think you should go back and review cars after a few years and see if your options have changed

Awesome review as always..I like these little Hondas but they’re bloody expensive. One thing I can’t get my head around..how is it illegal to touch a smartphone when driving but perfectly fine to play with all of these dash touch screens ?! 🤷‍♂️

Where is this car?

Looks good design wise but I still feel that new cars are adding more distractions than having the driver focus on the road. For example,the SAAB 900 from the late 80s is Pinacle ergonomic innovation.Everything you need is where you need it and a large curved windshield for better sight. Adding more screens creates more distractions and don't really add MORE than what cars than and now have.

This car is ugly, it gives me a squashed Mustang vibe and i love Mustangs too

The Late Brake Show is the best car show/channel currently. It has it all and is what car shoes used to be like and should be!… Q, what watch is a Mr Smith wearing?

This car is a piece of art! Imagine a wagon ❤ and the SUV ❤ version. Identical, one simply longer and the other simply double the size. Make a 4x4, Goodrich wheels, Dakar edition ❤

Why doesn’t Honda sell that car in the US ?

A little less wheel and a little more tyre would be great.

Johnny, I thought a car was basically to get from a to b in relative comfort, with no distractions. This vehicle is full of techno that is not only distracting, but unnecessary. But I suppose it keeps the idiots of this generation amused. More toys for the children to play with.

I live in, Canada and saw one of these on the road about 6 months back. I broke my neck staring at it because from what I heard, a North American version was explicitly not happening. Kind of a shame because it, and the EV Coupe that was unveiled next to it, are basically the only EVs I have any interest in. I seriously could not care less about another bubbly SUV

Our beloved Honda e is officially killed off by Honda. No more production, no more distribution. A sad day for the fans of the (still) marvelous e, but also a sad day for electric cars that actually belong in a city, unlike SUVs.

Okay - you have made me want one (and an Element). Too bad it (or the Element) is not available in the US. You are so right in your assessment. Having the little bike would just increase the fever to own it. And, it should come in Pikachu Yellow! If guinea pigs can sell a Soul, what if?! I drive a CRV (to haul my recumbent tadpole trike (Catrike 559), and struggle to get in without bumping my head (old stiff guy). You must be more limber, or have mad skills from experience to get into these little wonders.

this is such a good car and such a cool review. if i had the money for an EV i would absolutely pick it over better priced alternatives. I just want a small fun car for me and myself, and this is that and so much more. 4 years later and we still need more of it

I'd love this as a "Car nr. 2" in a family. And in that context, range and charging gets reduced importance. So now my major pet peeve is the horrible placement of the charging port...

First of all, you should "always" reverse while parking, so the port should always be at the back. I also don't love that I must empty the cavity of snow after charging...

No way, you actually brought up the moto compo 4 years ago, and now we have the new honda briefcase scooter, actual legend!!!

That really dus look like a really modern golf , I love the look of it in the outside but I don’t lie it being electric, we are all being conned about these electric cars and they are over all much much worse for the environment than and petrol or diesel cars that’s an absolute FACT , just for the amount of destruction and damage to the land just to get the materials for there batteries, and after the 10 years or so that you get from the batteries , the cars are basically scrap as the cost of a new battery plus labour to fit it dusnt make any sense , it’s round about 30 grand or so , depending on which car you have and 9-10 cars won’t even be worth it so there will lots and lots of cars being scrapped round about 10 years old , so tell me how that is much better that what we have now without electric cars , WE ARE ALL BEING CONNED INTO THINKING THAT WE ATE DOING BETTER WITH HAVING ELECTRIC CARS WHICH IS A COMPLETE CONN PEOPLE, please wake up to what we are being told about these electric cars

One of the cutest things on the road.

The Honda e has a turning circle of 9.2m not 4.3m! That is not a camera its a blank with the honda e silhouette in it as an easter egg. The other side has the rear fog light in it. Max charging speed ist 50kW not 100.

It reminds me strongly of an early Civic
