Guys be very careful starting at the top of a wall if you're a novice plasterer or DIY person. Even on plasterboard fill your taped joints out first.. Close doors and windows
The reason is Because top of your wall will dry much quicker than the middle and much slower on the bottom due to airflow. Try and get a nice long strokes from the top to the middle of the wall then from the bottom of the wall to the middle. Try to get nice even coate about 2mm keep lines to a minimum make sure you flattened the middle very important point. Wait until plaster starts to frim just slightly to the touch where your fingers lave an light inprint on plaster surface, then On with second coate nice and tite this time close the angle of trowel tight to the wall lay on in the same way. keep buckets tools clean as finish go's off much faster when it in comes to contact with dirty water.
Another tip: if finishing on cement or older dry walls apply pva and left it pull in for about an hour then apply another coat lave for 30mins mins the apply again then plaster once gule is tacky. This will control the suction other wise plaster will dry out to quickly and crack.
But if an Any doubt call in a plasterer.
All the best with your projects
Ffsk don’t try and use there corner bead lol, that’s s render stop bead👅👅👅👅
ОтветитьTip number 5 invest in a spot and stand is the best tip to add to the video. I am a laborer for a plasterer and I mix and load spotboards all day. Alot of strain goes into mixing and a lot of strain goes into lifting the bucket up to the spotboard. In my opinion tip no.5 should of been replaced with maybe always be aware when on site.
