I'd expect that therer were knockoff joycons out at the time you made this, and I allso assume that they'd be the easiest that those companies can get away with. So why didn't you use one of those for convenience and price, especially if you mess up and brake a pair.

Don't think that this is a criticism. Your mod still rocks. I just don't understand this choice.

This is so cool and I'm amazed that Nintendo didn't release their own Gamecube joycon. It feels like such an obvious thing that people would want to buy. I have to assume the complications you brought up in the video must somewhat exist on their level for mass production and the math just says no I guess. I hope someday I can have the time and money to get into modding like this.
