I could sit and watch/listen to y'all chat anytime for however long. You aren't boring me one bit 💙
ОтветитьI accidently went to Joann's too! OOPS!!! I now have more yarn and not enough time!! I just finished a red Tolsta and am now knitting a Skyline Tee by Tori Yu. Her pattern is well done!
ОтветитьLove you ladies. You give me incentive to keep up with my knitting. You’ve knitted some beautiful things. I always look forward to your podcasts.
ОтветитьI love quilting. I started it before I learned to knit. I do my own quilting on my regular sewing machine. Fabric is like yarn. I always need more. ❤️
ОтветитьHello, ladies from Colorado. I'm so glad to have found you! Subscribed and looking forward to more episodes. Have a Blessed weekend 🙏❣️
ОтветитьI just finished the May Colorwork Cuff Club sock, I'm involved in the weekend KAL for DreaRenee Harlow Flip hat, have a Flax in progress, and a pair of stripes ribbed vanilla socks.
ОтветитьThe roses in the background are beautiful! I always enjoy your podcast and was delighted to meet you both at the KY Fiber Festival. Happy knitting!
ОтветитьI had every intention to go to the Sheep and Fiber Festival on Saturday. But, due to possible storms here, I watched Ryan Hall Friday night, and saw the tornado pass through Somerset and London. It left me feeling numb. Saturday morning it was sunny here, but with a very strong wind. I decided to stay home. I was just feeling too sad. Thank you for talking about the tornado, Ryan Hall, and his 401c3 charity that acts so quickly to send supplies etc to the areas affected. Helping folks…That is what it is all about. 🩷
ОтветитьHey there from central Virginia! I look forward to viewing your podcast so much! I’m taking a break from knitting a slipover and a shawl to do the Harlow Flip MAL challenge. I let loose of a few choice words when trying to figure out how to do a tubular cast on 😂
ОтветитьI lived in Ashland/Russell for several years. We live in Walton now.
I just found you all a few weeks ago. You're so inspiring me to go beyond scarves and shawls.
I’m knitting the Flecks of sunshine in Line the pattern is in Laine Magazine Spring edition… it’s such a fun knit in DK with lace bracelet sleeves which is perfect for Summer. Love to you both💕
ОтветитьAlways enjoy your projects, so inspiring. Just finished the Fiorellino by Isabell Kraemer. Now have the Peacock tee and the Seaside tee on my needles.
ОтветитьHi, sweet friends. I’m knitting the Flecks of Sunshine blouse from Laine Magazine #24. It has dropped shoulders, a placket and lace work sleeves. I am using a combination of cotton and cashmere. I always look forward to your podcast and spending some time with you both. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьMy two sisters sew a lot and got me into quilting a couple of years back. The first year I make eight quilts. Needless to say, I love it but have since slowed down (how many quilts do we really need, haha). I mostly knit now with some painting thrown in. Never enough time for all the things. I love the podcast and look forward to each one. You guys are a blessing.
ОтветитьI am making the Clover Tee by Le Knit and the Pothos Tee by BethcDonsld Stone. Both have short sleeves.
ОтветитьJust finished the Eva cardigan. Now knitting the Shine cardigan.
ОтветитьHi Ladies - So happy to have found your podcast. I have 3 daughters and can’t imagine how fun it would be to do something like this. I have all the same patterns as you’re knitting on needles or in my queue and also love Knitting for Olive. Thanks for doing these. You’re doing a great job!
ОтветитьLove all the updates and love to see you both. Hi from Portland, OR 💖👋🏼🧶
ОтветитьI enjoy your podcast. The Lento is beautiful. It is one of my favorite sweater patterns. I just finished the Sabai in Berroco Modern Linen. I'm currently working on the Shore Tee by Anne Ventzel in Knitting for Olive Pure Silk and a lace alpaca. I am really enjoying this pattern. I also like shawls and am currently working on the Summer Citrus Shawl using Noro Sonata. A great summer shawl.
ОтветитьStunning projects! It's a joy to see what you're up to. I just purchased yarn to make a Lento.
ОтветитьYou guys are amazing. The lento looks wow. All your knits are so good. I am knitting Ida tee by petit knit
ОтветитьLove the show and was so happy to see you both at the Kentucky Sheep and Fiber Festival.
ОтветитьSo lovely to see you both. Casting on a new project is just fun-new yarn and the sweet anticipation of what’s to come. Cheers from Washington ❤️
ОтветитьI recently discovered your podcast. I have yarn ready and have swatched for the Relaxed Tee. Yours turned out so great!
Ответить🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷🦘🇦🇺
ОтветитьThanks for another great podcast!
ОтветитьThanks for the lovely podcast ladies! I always get inspiration from your projects.
ОтветитьLoved this episode. I'm working on the Lento for an Iceland/ Greenland trip I'm taking next month.....using la Bien Aimee. Yours is beautiful, Dianna ❤
ОтветитьLove you ladies so funny I'm sitting here quilting scrap strips for crazy quilt and rugs watch you talk about quilting and knitting I wish I could do it all at once if only I were an octopus 😂
ОтветитьI am looking forward to seeing your daughter's top progress. I printed off the pattern for my granddaughter who is 5 and loves all of the compliments she gets from the things her grand (me) makes her! Thank you so much for a lovely podcast. Love how the Lento turned out. Appreciate the information you share, like about the pure silk yarn. So pretty.
ОтветитьLovely ladies, lovely projects. 😊 You two in your sweaters compliment the floral arrangement on the table behind you. You meant to do that, didn't you? 😄
ОтветитьYour accent was what drew me to your podcast. I live 82 miles South of Nashville and I can understand . Some of the podcasters from Candan. and northern states , they talk to fast. Enjoyed the podcast. Will be waiting for the next one.
ОтветитьThanks Diana and Kaity. I appreciate you both.
ОтветитьI love your podcast! I just discovered you a few weeks ago and just fell in love. I live in Wisconsin, but my dad is from Pineville, KY. Your accents remind me of family down there. Great job on all your knits. They're beautiful!!
ОтветитьThank you for your vlog. Your sweaters are gorgeous.
ОтветитьI have been in such a crafty slump, I decided I needed an emotional support chicken😂. Ya’ll girls are so sweet.
ОтветитьLove your projects! I have recently found Knitting for Olive and love it as well. I am making the Pier 39 top in the Pure Silk, and the Ilha top in the merino and mohair. I also have a problem of thinking I am finished with a sweater when I need to add 2 or 3 inches!! Kaity, that is lovely Mother's Day bag!!
ОтветитьI ALWAYS love when I can catch up with the two of you! It is always a fun time learning about what you are knitting and getting up to in life. Thanks!
ОтветитьI just finished the Sabai top in the same color 6044, they call it Regatta Blue. I did not do short rows because I wanted the boat neck, but it does come up pretty high on the front of my neck, which I am okay with. I did the ribbed neckline. My row gauge was a little shorter and I also omitted a few rows before starting the increases which made it not so long under the arms. I really like the two stitches at the shoulder that you did, will definitely do that next time.
ОтветитьYou’re always amazing! Thanks so much! ❤
ОтветитьIt has been a rollercoaster over here. It took me a few days to finish your podcast. It was worth it. You two are my favorite knitting duo. I laughed when Katie said "When am I ever going to be in 90 degree weather?" I'm in Texas so that was from last week until possibly October / November. Happy Knitting Everybody!
ОтветитьThank you for the episode - I always watch what you have knitted or what is on your needles. I have quite many Lento -sweaters as they fit me so nice. Sabai-top is propably also going to be this summer favourite. Greetings from Rovaniemi, northern-Finland and thank you for being such nice part of my knitting tribe too even though we have never met. Happy knitting summer to you!
ОтветитьHello. I so enjoy your podcast. You always make me feel like you are talking to me. Laity what are you drinking? It looks good.
ОтветитьYour sweaters are lovely! I’m sad that Staci and I missed the Lexington festival. We were looking forward to meeting Kaite and the kids. Maybe next year!
ОтветитьSuch beautiful sweaters! Thank you for another lovely episode! I love my Garden Cardigan (knit with Holst Garn Coast held double) - it's great for those of us who go hot/cold/hot/cold all day... I agree with Katie about how wonderful Knitting for Olive Pure Silk is, and I'm enjoying wearing my Cumulus tee knit with it. Right now, I'm knitting the Fjolla by Isabell Kraemer in Holst Garn Coast held double - will probably make it short sleeved for a spring/summer top (and because I don't think I have enough yarn for long sleeves.)
ОтветитьYou two made me smile 😊. So great seeing your WIPs and FOs.
ОтветитьKnitting the sabai top right now!
ОтветитьWorking on: Siplau bag, Ponderosa sweater (leaving off the sleeves so it will be a tee), and a Misurina tee right now.
ОтветитьLove seeing all your makes and WIPs. Thanks so much for sharing and for including details around your experience. x
