Got a big, black & Yellow/Orange spider in the corner of my back porch. Been there 2 weeks. Research says it's called a Orb Weaver. AKA a Banana Spider, henceforth we named her Chiquita. She made a cocoon of eggs, the size and shape of a fig. When she was done, I moved it far away from the porch. This morning she had entombed a katydid for breakfast. Really cool to watch.

My hubby is a medic. He doesn’t get sick often but when he does its horrible. It mostly happens when he wears himself out,extra shifts ect and his immune system gets low.

Looks like you have a wolf spider-I leave them,too. They eat nasty bugs-same with. you praying mantis. The praying mantis will scratch you bad with claws on its forelegs. They use those to catch and hold prey while eating it. There is a wolf spider just outside my door as well.
