Let's say you bringing a piece of copper or a bunch of if it has one screw left in the entire pile they won't tell you but they won't give you full price for the entire pile even though they could say hey there's one screw and let you take that piece off and give you completely clean a lot of times they'll say nothing and give you the cheapest amount that they can for your pile so always beware know your scrap yard
