beautiful quality knife- all Randys fault
ОтветитьOne I gladly take blame for, though Mark had gotten me mine :) I love that olive wood. I blame you for getting me looking for an olive wood knife haha. I do appreciate the shout out, thank you! The control you have on the blade is perfect. Excellent video my friend. Would definitely like to see your sub collection too.
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic knife brother. Have a wonderful day today
ОтветитьNot my cup of tea but I’m sure you’ll appreciate it great video as always 💯👌🏼💯

ОтветитьI got a buffalo cover from steel city knives after being won over by the knife Raven .The small blade was strange at first but glad to have it in my collection .
ОтветитьFantastic…!!
A classic British knife 🇬🇧….!
Good on you Randy for being a bad influence 🤣🤣🤣
Great review Slippy …😎👊🏻
Beautiful piece!!!
ОтветитьThat's a beautiful piece, my friend! These can be quite addictive...I should know, I've got 8 Ettricks! (6 being A. Wrights) The Olive is my favourite, as it came with swedging as well as the most beautiful grain I've ever seen on a piece of Olive wood! Overall, it was a great buy, and I can't suggest these enough.
Great review, as always! 😊
Cheers!
Beautiful knife! I really like the history behind that pattern, and the covers on this one look awesome! Cheers, buddy!
Ответитьthat's a real traditional gardening/pruner and whatever else knife that was truly a heavy used item traditionally . That is a working knife if there ever was one. A practical get the job done no nonsense knife
ОтветитьThe thing I like about the A.W. ( and J.R. ) Knives is that they are made to be tough, hard working knives. The odd little gap etc does not detract from this in my opinion. The fact that they look pretty nice doesn't hurt either of course lol.
ОтветитьVery nice looking knife! Appreciate you sharing this!
ОтветитьGreat purpose built knife with history! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьGreat review, especially the inclusion of the knife designs history. It would be interesting to see a review of the different UK knife manufacturers available today.
ОтветитьWonderful wood scales. The Swiss mark is missing on the scales 😅
ОтветитьIt's pronounced 'Eh-trick'. I suspect it already existed before being 'patterned' and put into production in Sheffield. The Christopher Johnson version was advertised in the Scottish/English borders as the "Ettrick" Sheepsfoot. As an aside, the best film I've ever seen of knife-making back in the day, around 1928, is by Christopher Johnson and held in the Yorkshire film archive for online viewing. They were surprisingly still using kids to bore out the handles.
ОтветитьLove the design but two major faults , nail nick too deep in blade and dreadful pull so much so that it’s relegated to a drawer.
