i watched the newer road. house, totally diffent premis and setting. Very enjoyable

Us Gen X 80s Boys were so blessed to have so many Cool Masculine Movie and cartoon Role Models in those days.

We talked about so many movies in the 80s. We pretended to be them while playing.

And thanks to our Fathers allowing us to watch these movies with them, we also developed that sense of humor and also repeat everything with friends a lot of quotes that were funny to us in those movies.😂

The doc is played by Kelly Lynch. She had bit parts in a few movies. She was in Cocktails, Curly Sue and Charlie's Angels. There are a few more movies but nothing of any real significance in my opinion

The doctor looks similar to Daryl Hanna in the 80's. She's most famous from Splash as the mermaid. It was a hit movie with Steve Martin

The turn was that Dalton was traumatized because he killed a man who pulled a gun on him and ripped his throat out. When he killed Jimmy, he became that man again. One of the best scenes was when Dalton sacrificed his Mercedes, that he had babied the whole film as a distraction on his quest for revenge. That's when you knew how serious he was and how much he cared about avenging Wade and saving the town.

Best way to describe it is Dirty Dancing was the girls romance movie and Roadhouse is the guy's romance movie.

This is back whenr the actors could actually fight. You have Terry Funk Wrestling legend, Swayze himself studied martial Arts all his life and Jimmy is an actual bad ass martial artists as well.

The old guy that played the Shop Owner, Red, real name Red West, was one of Elvis', yes The Elvis Presley, one of his Memphis Mafia crew & bodyguard.

You should also watch The Movie "Black Dog" it's now considered a cult classic like Roadhouse.

The Jeff Healey estate just realised 'Roadhouse - The Lost Soundtrack' Which fans of Jeff's have waited 30 years to hear. The music in this film is as much a character as any actor in it. ❤😮
