Last Monday was the last UK bank holiday before Christmas and lo and behold it was actually warm and sunny. Which is as rare as hens teeth!

I looked it up: "Crickets typically live for 8–10 weeks as adults, but can live up to a year in the wild. Their lifespan depends on several factors, including the type of cricket and the environment."
You may have a little longer with your cricket.

ugh I had a cricket problem this summer as well. Better to deal with it sooner than later before it breeds and there's even more :(. There's some pretty cheap traps online or at any home improvement stores. Should maybe place them before your trip since they're more likely to come out when there's less foot traffic. Have a safe trip! So cool you guys are getting to meet James! Connor has actually got me hyped to watch Sonic. I've never watched the movies but I played the video games growing up.
