Duty is God And Work is Worship | God Rewards Us When We Do Our Duty | Personal Experiences
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba says, "Duty Without Love is Deplorable. Duty With Love is Desirable. Love Without Duty is Divine." We have many duties to perform as professionals, volunteers, parents, children, brothers, sisters, friends, citizens, humans etc. To reap the immense benefits of God's grace and love, the least we can do is evolve from doing our duties without love to doing them with love!
This is a personal experience on how Swami rewards us when we do our duties well. It happened during the Christmas of 2008 when I literally gatecrashed into Swami's residence, the Yajur Mandiram. The way Swami responds inspires us to elevate ourselves to the level of "Love without Duty" which renders us divine!
