For me. Religion 1st. Feed the world and meeting house. Then expand with Mangus, settlers do not consume pop promotion. 2nd city will take the govt plaza with ancestral hall. I try to build Machu Pichu as and sweep up jungle and forest. Ofc making sure I don't screw my production output. And then switch Mangus to the 2nd strongest city and try to get Casa de Contraccion and build it asap lol. Yes I play as the Inca. Food civ. 😅

Continental Splits are often synonymous with Geothermal Fissure. They can spawn on a Hill, making it a nice 4 yields tile to work. And they give a whooping +2 Science adjacency to Campus for no reason.
At least Mountains / Reefs deprive you of nice workable tiles or being at risk (if you settle next to them, Coast tile are atrocious without Lighthouse and techs) or having to spend Gold to reach them (if you settle them 3 or 4 tiles away). There is no such things with Geothermal Fissures.

Why is Volcano +1 but Geothermal Fissure +2, while it would make more sense if it was the opposite? Nobody knows!

As a Filipino (with lots of Spanish words in our language) hearing Casa de Contratacion be absolutely garbled like that hurts

That said, I have 5 wonders that is a MUST HAVE for every game. I quit if I lose one. Alhambra, Potala, Forbidden, Big Ben, and Casa. So the 4 extra policy slots, and the 3 gov titles.

That said, I can absolutely zero in on these wonders no problem, usually as Julius Kaiser or Hammurabi
