How do you tell what time it is in dayz? I only know it's morning when im on through the night. Is there a way to know exactly what time it is the moment you log in?

You can also drop a simple fireplace inside an improvised shelter, and it will reduce the light produced, eliminate most of the smoke, and will be protected from rain without damaging the shelter. Put another shelter next to it and you're all set. You can even setup a cooking stand in there. I like to set up four shelters with a garden in the middle. If you add a rain barrel to that setup, you're livin the dream.

I've always placed my fire under trees. Only because the risk of being seen is much lower when youre peeling bark though, not for keeping it dry 🤣🤣 freakin great video mate!!!
