Haven’t been able to solo the dungeon because of those explosive shanks ruining my runs, not sure what I could do to get them down as soon as possible.

MAC!! Bungie in it's infinite wisdom nerfed the Key pads to charge up grand overature rockets!! is it worth charging up volley's on normal dregs? or just use Grand Overature normally? shoot 20 shots / launch volley/ rinse repeat??

Does the tank at the front of the dps room have the same effect as the aerial you jumped on? Having trouble landing that jump reliably :(

a normal person can not do this my hands are shaking after the first encounter im sorry but bungie has made this game unplayable and unfun sometimes like why the fuck cant they make shit easier. my eyes are going to go blind because of the corneal eye infection this game is gon na give me for sitting close to the tv and playing this fucking rediculous game. fuck bungie fuck mactics fuck every crack head who can fucking go this shitty dungeon solo. if i contijnue trying to do this dungeon solo im actually going to go insane and blind. this is the stupidest fucking game in the entire world and bungie is a dying company. we all just need to shoot this monster in the brain because this game fucking sucks. the only thiung thats keeping it afloat is these loser streamers and there shitty fucking videos that dont help anyone. not everyone is on a computer dumb fuck and not every is good at aiming , this game relys to heavily on the gamer who is on there computer and us console players have the hardest time trying to do anything because we. dont use a moust to point and shoot no we have to use three fucking buttons with our dfingers to fucking shoot. so fuck you, your a fucking loser crackhead who can play a really hard video game. want a fucking cookie. good job tell it to some other losers who fucking give a shit cause youre still a big fucking loser

Great guide. The only thing that has been frustrating the hell out of me that gets left out of all these guides: you cannot not just take your time in the Red/Blue rooms. It’s a weird change of pace but once you use Op to shoot the 4 buttons, you are on a timer to use scanner and kill the right puppet before the room ignites. It isn’t very long either.

Love your videos man and can’t wait to give this a try. The only thing that gets me is the advice to avoid ADS during the Raneiks pre-DPS phase where there’s tons of exploder shanks. Idk if it’s a controller problem or just me, but I have really trouble aiming with a hand cannon while hip firing. Anyone else have this issue, or otherwise have any tips for me? Thanks!

Are there any prismatic solo options for raneiks that gets anywhere close the the rain of fire build? I’m having a much harder time staying alive on pure solar, especially when you get transported up and have to deal with the exploder shanks. My current strat is pop song of flame while machine priest is around half health, then you have enough to super the shanks. Otherwise I’m too shite at hand cannon hip firing to clear the crowd! And I can usually rebuild super pretty fast before dps with a dynamo mod. But still, it’s way harder to keep a restoration loop going vs a devour loop.

Awesome guide. Helped me solo. Not crazy enough for flawless yet. As of Dec '24, i recommend prismatic with speakers sight and dragon's breath/lost signal for the Servitor boss. Devour and solar siphon/surge and helion cooks. Wardcliff is too dangerous for me! Dont forget tonic of weakening void for reload 😅 Thanks, Mactics! 🎉😊

My top list is no more new BS in eververse for 2025. There's so many ships, Ghosts, sparrows, emotes, ghost projections, Finishers this game spends so much dev time creating instead of making new content or events.
Also that was added because of free to play so why when we buy annual expansions do I not get a 75-90% Off cosmetics or have the ones from year unlocked automatically.

On hunter use mothkeeper's wraps to get overshield with every grenade and strand with thread of generation to get your grenades back in the final boss arena while dealing damage to the boss

Can I use Lost Signal instead of Witherhoard? I don't have the catalyst yet and it takes forever to get lol, would a Lost Signal with auto-loading holster be a good replacement?

Wardcliff Coil is now useless; Mactics, if you find a new viable strategy for Raneiks, I’m all ears! All I’ve heard so far is Parasite but I haven’t been able to test it so no clue how good or bad it is, but sincerely doubt it is anywhere near the level that Wardcliff was, sadly. Oh, good…we can Tether now but the Raneiks boss fight is sort of ruined/painful now. I am a Hunter main and rather them just deactivate Tether again and revert these changes… 🤦🏻‍♂️

i think i could solo it as i got to the second encounter but the amount of health the boss has made me give up.
ive gone from maybe 4 phases in previous dungeons to looking like it would take 8+ phases.
its n longer fun for me as it becomes tedious after 3-4 phases doing the mechanics
and theres a lot of BS that seems random like the servitor in the maze, the final boss room is horse shit with all the lightning. too much to just end your run when you have to do 8+phases
kudos to the people that stuck at it but i no longer have the time or motivation to try

Not sure if it was a bug back then and got patched. But I'm doing basically zero damage to Raneiks with the exact same build with Wardcliffe.

When I use this exact strat, the enemies during damage shoot me dead despite all the DR. What gives?

Thanks for the awesome guide. Suggestion for the first encounter, though. Rather than have the longest run back and then have to take on the hardest brig, I did that side first. AND, to reduce the need to get to the hardest to reach shower before time runs out, I did the following. When you get the first scanner, run into the room on the right (the side where there is only one door), kill the enemies blocking your way, and dunk the scanner in the shower. Then, go back out and do the hardest room first. That is, the far door on the left. That has the longest run to get back to the center room and you don't want the hardest brig to fight. So, do it first. Since you dunked the scanner already, there will be one you can pick up from the shower in this room. Once you have the nuke, don't forget to dunk the red thing in the shower on your way out. Super the brig to save time and dunk the nuke. Then do the other door on the left - same drill. Finally, do the door on the right. Take your time so you get your super back. It's a short walk back to the middle room so you'll have plenty of time to kill the big brig.
