I'm guessing that this guy is buying clones off of Temu and just changing the brand stickers. I bought my TLM clone for $9.00 and my U87 clone for $13.00. How about you buying the ones off of TEMU and doing a comparison?

Could you do some in depth guitar/vocal demos etc of that GTZ, and maybe compare it to a better mic as well?

Had to bail on your vid as extremely annoying (to me) that someone professing to understand, to a degree, microphones, cannot pronounce properly the name of probably the most popular mic in the universe. Whew....

Interesting stuff. I have had a few MXL mics, and wow, the good, the bad and the ugly! Two quick examples for me, I did pick up a 770 a couple years ago, and wanted to run over it with my car. Thought it sounded thin and terrible, very lightweight and cheap feeling, and overall made me sad inside. On the other end, I picked up a used MXL3000 for about 75 bucks on Ebay, and holy crap, outside of the hefty noise floor, (19db!) This is one smooth mic. Blew my Rode NT1 out of the water.

But what if you sell all four of them and then with that money plus put a couple of hundreds on top of that and buy a AKG C414 XL II ,,with that mic do all this four did but way better , those mics are 900$ or so .

I know what I'm about to say is a cliche, but it also happens to be true. Yes, top of the range equipment is nice to have, but the most important thing in the chain is the performer, whether you sing or play an instrument. Crap in , crap out. Any audio system is as good as it's weakest link. You may own a really top end mic, but is the rest of your recording enviroment also top end? Are you a skilled engineer that knows how to get the best out of equipment or able overcome any issues? Will a good mic just highlight any issues? I get that it's great to own nice things, but throwing money at a problem isn't always the best solution. Anyway, thank you for your content.

It looks like he changed the price to $395 so maybe it was a typo, Lucky You!

One thing you might want to be careful of. There at times is some residual current voltage present in the cable and it is always advised by may pros that you wait at least 30 seconds or more before switching microphones with Phantom powered Condenser Mics . Just a note
