The huge black bezel is a deal breaker for me. Too many other good options out there to NOT be picky about the useable screen size relative to the watch size/weight.

Is it worth to swap Fenix 6s for 255? 🤔

Is this watch a good pick in this price range for someone who mainly does hiking and strength training as opposed to running? I was comparing it to the Venu2 and this one seems to have tons of more features but I'm not sure how useful those actually are for someone who isn't running marathons.

If now fenix 6 is for £299 and same 745 is it better to choose 255 for £399 or better is buy fenix6?

hi everyone. Need an advice: my fenix5s needs a head unit replacement. for my activities, my fenix is still good enough. Just wondering if is relevant to spend some money to repair a watch of 7 year old when with double cost i can get a brand new 255. What do you think about that?

December 2022 and the 255 now does wrist based power. I think when you did the video it was not a thing yet. Love this watch so far a month into it

One huge quiet upgrade that no one mentions from the 245 is that the 255 and the 55 can have their back lighting adjusted. For some of us who don't have perfect vision this is huge. Coros and polar don't do it. The owners manual for the 245 says you can, but you definitely cannot.

Th reason I am buyting this watch is that the non-music edition is the most feature-filled watch I can find that DOESNT have wifi. For those of us that work in 'secure' areas, this is a must.

In this video you mention that " VO 2 max for cycling needs does need a power meter " What do you mean by that? I have trouble with this function and Garmin Support can't offer me a clear explanation so far. Because I don't have a VO2 max for cycling my watch doesn't offer me daily suggestions for cycling. I would love to have daily suggestions for cycling....

Just bought the 255 overall a complete let down. Specs seemed great but if you cant see or read the screen then its pointless. Even on full 100% brightness its still bad, then when you swiych to running mode it goes even darker so you can hardly see anything. Returning the product and will be sending Garmin a complaint email.

I can’t see any of the info when running so I need it to talk to my earphones but it doesn’t.. very frustrating. Any ideas on a watch that will tell me what my pace, HR etc is when running? My apple used to but it’s not great for marathon and proper training

It also doesnt tell you what button to press to get out or next page.. they never think about people who haven’t wear glasses to actually see the screen 🥴

My Forerunner 255S Music works fine but the heart rate sensor is so off! While doing heavy deadlifts with a heart rate of appr. 160, it just shows me 65! I already have the latest updates and turned it off/on a dozen times. Also, while showing me the heart rate, it is somehow delayed by 10 seconds or so. If my heart beats way faster, it only shows it 10s later... The same applies for the GPS, it is delayed by 5 seconds... WHY. Does anyone know what to do? Bought it new.

Thank you thank you Ray, for this review covering GPS ACCURACY. My Fenix 5 plus is terrible at tracking: all over the place, and typically a 4% haircut! I am now looking for the best value in Garmin GPS tracking, and you nailed it in the first few minutes of this video.

Is this watch worth it in 2024? I read watches only get 2 years worth of security updates. I like the 265 but i dont want to spend too much on a watch ill be replacing every 2 years. I currently have the instinct solar and looking for an upgrade.

My 255 and thousands of others with various models can't synch their watches for 3 freaking weeks since the last app update. Buy something else!
