I'm pretty it was stated somewhere that vageta already had ssj3 transformation, but he chose not to use it cause it consumed too much energy, and wasn't a viable transformation in battle. Got to do more research on it.

Honestly i find the hair currently fitting better + it makes more sense considering their current body size, on gotenks i always found it a bit 2 much 2 make the hair almost the same length as the saiyan itself 😅 but on a adult it fits better due 2 them being taller. I wonder if they considered this, and if so... Will goku have it as well when he goes ss3 ? (We all know he will)

I would say Vegeta fought the strongest. The 2nd wasn't the strongest until Neva boosted his power. Vegeta would have bet the 2nd dragon Ball guardian in ssj2 easy if not for the Neva zenkai boost. Him beating that guardian proves ssj3 Vegeta is currently stronger than all guardians.
