I Won't Dance

Our second TV appearance was for the BBC's 'Wogan' show in the summer of 1989.

They built a stunning Art Deco set for our brief performance and we performed this Kern/Fields et al song 'live'.
With only a handful of performances under our belt at that time, we were fortunate to have been booked for this prime-time show.
The vocal trio are Laurence Cook, Ian Moffat and Michael Law, with Janice Day.

Opportunities for 'vintage' orchestras and bands to perform on TV dried up as the 1990s progressed, though we were part of Roger Keech's two BBC4 documentaries: 'Len Goodman's Dancing Feet' and 'Len Goodman's Dance Band Days' about ten years ago.
