Anna Cockrell | USC Student-Athlete Graduation Commencement Speech 2019

Anna Cockrell is a Junior All-American as a hurdler and sprinter for USC, competing in the 100m hurdles and 400m hurdles, as well as the 4x400m relay. She ranks 3rd in the 100m hurdles, 4th in the 400m hurdles and second in the 4x400m on USC's all-time lists. She also holds the freshman record in the 400m hurdles and 60m hurdles. She is one of the USC women's captains for the 2019 season. She is a Communication major At USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and a Political Science minor at USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences. Anna made the Dean's List in Fall 2016, Fall 2017, Spring 2017 and Spring 2018 and is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, Anneberg's only honors society. She is also named to the 2017 USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
