I work in a shop, we rarely get LC's going in for repairs other than oil changes. Ive seen rangers, SUV's getting their bushings, cv joints, and tie rods replaced in less than a year, then one time this dirty old LC200 with worn out tires came in, we checked the underchassis and nope, everything is still fine, just needed an oil change and new tires, meanwhile at the back of the shop, we had 5 range rovers with barely any mud underneath that already has broken air suspensions, leaking radiators, leaking oil pans and all kinds of electronic issues. The range rovers are on average have 60k to 80k miles lol. I can confirm that LC's are really built with quality and reliability in mind.

My wife couldn't quite understand and thought it's just me ranting away about it, so I asked her to watch this video to see that I'm not alone. She thanked me for getting a LC after. ❤

Range rovers are overpriced overrated piles of crap. I own a 2007 120 series diesel prado VX spec or LC 120 in UK language. We get the dual fuel tanks with 180 liter capacity which I’ve had OVER 1600 klm out of. No other car on the planet beats landcruisers for all round capability and build quality. PS is that mutt put its claws on my dash or touch screen it’d be left in the bush PERMANENTLY.

Both Chris and the dog look alike and are a bit too short to be completely trustworthy.....

I think the shocks on that are getting tired.

One cannot say enough about the quality build of these vehicles - Toyota reliability is legendary. I drive a 1984 FJ 60, and it is still going strong.

Agreed, but I found the ergonomics odd, you sit low in it, not the command driving position of a disco, simply put it doesn't make you feel special a bit like a Lexus.

New models are not the same !!!! Get decent old school lc and you wont regret it.

Bought one 10mths ago,,13yr old with 235000km on clock from main toyota dealer here in ireland. It won me over. I previously had out of box new nissan navara and within 3mths starter played up,electric windows starting going slower than brexit . Off loaded it and was gonna get new lc but vat was ouch. Dealer had 2010 model with no vat ticket so took for 15k euro. Best money ever spent on vehicle. Only Downside is retrieving spare tyre,,its farce.

Preaching to the choir, my 100 Series Lexus is all of this and more. I wish we got the diesels in the states but the 4.7 V8
will run for eternity
