Honestly here’s the way I see it, the picks in the first three rounds are basically guaranteed to make the roster and even the third round picks are pretty much guaranteed to play for at least three years so the first three rounds should be guaranteed.

Why did they do that. Trying to reverse their cult image. If TX was so great why they let DeShawn get that bad? To blackmail him? Gross beyond comprehension.

The NFL should get out ahead of this and make the 1st & 2nd rounder contracts fully guaranteed

Realistically, no team will be pressured much by this. If the rookie doesn't sign, they don't get paid and can't go anywhere else. So they're gonna waste 3-4 years of their prime? Nah.

WOW WHAT A SHOCK! SIMMS KNOWS EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE 2ND ROUND ROOKIES AND FLORIO KNOWS PRECISELY ZERO OF THEM. A good start for Florio would be to look up and actually pay attention when Simms is talking and maybe he could learn a thing or two about the sport he’s “covering” 🤦🏼‍♂️ the second Florio shuts his mouth his head goes down and it’s really messed up and inconsiderate. Whenever Florio isn’t talking, his head is down and he’s doing something completely different on his phone. Does he think that Simms enjoys that?? Talking to the top of his head? Simms doesn’t do that back to him, though I wish he would. It’s really a slap in the face, and a blatant one because Simms used to bring it up. Florio is essentially telling him and all of us that we’re not worth his full attention

I actually thought all draft picks were fully guaranteed since rookie money isn’t that much to begin with.
