Wow, an honest president saying it the way it is...Trump says it the way it is too but many no brainers "Cant Handle The Truth". Many don't know right from wrong these days.

President Reagan speaking the 100% truth. Businesses raise the price of a product and the taxes should be included but they add on taxes after. That's the sneaky way for government and businesses. That's why I still say "The rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer ".

My Republican friend in Florida would probably happily quote Reagan's line "I'm from the government and I'm here to help", and now that the water is a few feet below her double wide on concrete, she'll be very happy to see the government. Bet! 🔵👹🐸🦖🫏

Truth hidden in plain site! Why did America work under President Ronald Reagan? Because Ronald Reagan used the Economic System by Arthur Laffer called; "supply-side economics" with the now known famous, "Laffer Curve!" A brief overview is; this would allow governments to cut taxes, and simultaneously increase revenue and economic growth! Hillsdale College has a, DVD: Art Laffer Documentary Series, American Prosperity Explained! May God allow Donald Trump to win so he can use this Economic System AGAIN so America and all her Citizens to rise up out of this Recession. If not, our Republic will certainly experience a Depression worse than the 1930's. All things being equal, readers need to know that America has a Boa Constrictor Loan with China thanks to the Biden/Harris Administration. China has granted America a One Billion Dollar Loan based on a Banking term entitled a, "short." This Loan has to be repaid in full in one year including interest. Failure to do so will result in a failure of agreement. China is betting America can not repay in full, on time. This will be a catastrophe. The Dollar value will be severely decreased to the point that this Recession could escalate into a Depression worse than the 1930's collapse of Society.

Even if you reduce the tax on business, they still increase the price of there products! Its called greed! And they pass the cost of the tariffs onto you also. Big business runs the government not you! They promise to do all these great things and do nothing when they get in. Nothing has changed.

Sounds like reagan thinks businesses are like the Alien. You dont dare kill it or hurt it because it will hurt you more. This attitude has led to the situation we have today where most of the people in the country cant afford to put a roof over their heads.

@ShooterPat
@ShooterPat - 06.01.2025 02:42

I mean, the idea that a business will pass on any expenses to the customer does make sense, and we are seeing it today with large corporate greed. But I disagree that we should not tax businesses in order to make prices low, because it doesn't account for greed.

This will piss off both sides, but /ideally/ the larger businesses that have a large footprint should be taxed, while smaller, less weighty business should be exempt from them. Of course, there are already loopholes in the form of affiliate businesses with that idea, with which the cost to form and sustain a small business as a front for a larger business isn't a huge problem for large business but is a huge issue with that ideal. Hence why i said 'ideally'.

I predict if good change were to be found, we would need to sit down and talk amongst eachother outside of party bias or corporate engagement. But that would be impossible in the current political climate.
