Lost me at Indiegogo.

I have a 2019 Rad Rover fat tire E bike that has everything I need right now. I bought it for $1499, shipping included at that price. It was easy to put together, and worked perfectly, right out of the shipping box. I did a lot of shopping around before buying the Rad Rover. I'm still fascinated by all the electric bikes on the market today, and enjoyed watching your video. I'm one of those people who hates the roar of gas engines on dune buggies and other off road vehicles. An almost silent electric bike is a real joy to ride in the silent places I like to explore on the Mojave Desert of Southern California.

Sending a bike the was beat up by a previous reviewer makes you wonder how well it would really hold up? Also sending a beat up bike to a reviewer that has 57,000 followers is really low budget and not something I would care to be involved with.

Crowdsourcing is VERY risky, with any product. I've personally had very bad luck with products on Indiegogo.

I want to like this company's products for what they promise. My reservations are: Their presentation. Nothing about this company screams professional. Their product videos, website and overly casual owner just don't give the confidence necessary to plump down $2,000 on a bike that may-or very well may-not ever ship (Indiegogo products aren't guaranteed... and if the company takes your money and runs... too bad for you- Indiegogo won't protect you. Just make sure you use a good credit card that will dispute the charge for you when the company disappears).

Despite having been around for a couple of years, the company seems to still have very little in the way of notoriety. Very few reviews of previous products. Very little discussion on e-bike forums. Just a complete lack of existence in an online world.

Again, I want to like what they have to offer... but, I'm skeptical and can't help but hate the fact that they are releasing this bike on Indiegogo rather than through their own established website. If they were truly producing quality products over the past two years they wouldn't need to crow fund their next generation.

Maybe they just need to hire a real CEO and marketing manager (or firm).

the stand snapping off does not give me a sense of confidence in the frame integrity, aside from that and the other small issues this bike has so much potential, its one of the coolest folders i have seen.

HI Kev!, This is just an opinion, I think the color orenge is to mush maybe if the frame was black or brown it would look lot nicer!!.

While the rest of the Europeans try to limit speed on their e-bikes, this guy is trying to break land speed records lol!

Folding frame makes it an automatic pass imo. Its not safe, and unless you live in manhattan its not necessary. If it had a real frame, the specs and price would make it very appealing. Unfortunate they went with the folding crap. Its also super weird to send a broken unit to be reviewed .

Kev, thanks for your reviews. I currently own a Swagtron e7 (14 inch) and a Lectric XP (20 inch). I am looking for a 26” that performs like the Lectric, which offers phenomenal speed at its price. In your opinion, is there a 26” equivalent to the Lectric XP?

I am attempting to purchase the current version of this bike AT THE MOMENT. Talking to the people manning the website they say they are understaffed at the moment due to the pandemic and to be patient. I have only inquired about the versions of the bike that are premade, and for help building one from the options they provide. I'll give them another day or two to engage with me, a potential customer who is ready to buy their product, then i will take my business elsewhere. Either to Sondor, Wallke, or DJ cycles as i am interested in a 26inch fat tire folding ebike that goes over 30mph.

If you want to hear tires that roar, I should show you my 1999 pacific summit, you can hear it from half a mile away.

I have a bike with the BBSHD Bafang and it has lots of torque. I think it's a really nice motor.

YOU REALLY NEED TO READ THE FINE PRINT. So if you are looking for an E-bike I would stay far away from this one. The stark 399, 599 and 799. So you can go to the website and see that the bikes are there but the miss leading thing is, that you will be lucky if you get the bike in 130 days. That is right the bike is not a STOCK bike it is a custom one. So here is the story, my 17 year old son wanted to get an e-bike for work, and after we went over a lot of e-bikes he went with this one. It was the stander 799 with no extras it came out to 1074 so he bought it and then after reading the email and seeing that the bike was a custom one he wanted to cenacle it ASAP. LET THE FUN BEGAIN!!! We went on the website and read the cancelation section (NO WHERE IN THIS SECTION DO IT TELL YOU HOW OR WHERE TO GO) we did see a LIVE Chat on the bottom right of the web page so we both tried. NOPE no one there so we emailed and we got an email back, IT WAS AN ADVERTISEMENT nice right, so lets try and call the 188phone # nope it said leave name and #. I forgot to tell you that this was one day latter we tried to Cenacle. After all that we called the bank to dispute the charge and they said ok.. later that night when my son was at work he got an email from STARK DRIVE saying Sorry to hear that you want to cenacle but there will be a $300 charge as we have started to make the bike WHAT this company sucks in the return police it says that you COULD that is right COULD be charged. so the payment was still pending in the bank account how could they start making a bike when they will wait so they can send in a big order to a Chinese manufacturer to get a better deal? I really hate this company............

Have you ever circle backed to see if this company was a legit seller of an inexpensive e-bike? A trustworthy, stand-behind-their-product company? A it-won’t-break-in-a-day bike?

No way I'll buy a ebike frm this company or watch anymore vids' after that review. UK.
