I always get confused. After all, what should I move when picking fast? My thumb and index fingers or my wrist? I always see guitarrists with those different approaches.

Very nice piece man. I have a 90’s era Jackson Kelly that was once black then I shaved it down and put a deep cherry red about 15 years ago and then recently decided to shave it down again and go back to black but I really wanted to try a tobacco burst instead. I didnt have the confidence in my staining abilities after reading how its done so I just picked black that you can see the wood grain through. This guitar looks so much like what I really wanted to pull off

Highway Star Deep Purple, this solo got me into deep purple!

My picking sounds so much cleaner now and has drastically improved my picking speed. Fantastic video. I am, however, having some trouble smoothly transitioning to other strings while picking quickly at the same time. Any tips?
