Very well done, and very laborious - looking 190048 tonnes better.
But how long will all that dye and paint last before the interior regresses back to complete pizza hell?
The basic problem with painting plastic trim is obvious - not matter how good the primer and spray paint is, the original plastic color comes back with a vengeance when scratched - eventually looking like a reversed tiger.
Tá aí uma bela merd*** 😂
ОтветитьThis is not a restauration. This is more of that american asshattery the previous owner(s) massacred the car with.
ОтветитьWould love to do what this guy does
ОтветитьHow do people let their cars interior get that gross 🤢🤮
ОтветитьOMG Whomever is blessed to get this Beamer! Is going to enjoy and appreciate it just wish I could fix my truck I'm going to try the tough stuff on my leather seats but I really need to get this transmission sorted out! It's an 06 Ford Explorer apparently with a switched-out transmission it was used now at least real hard shift at 3rd! And loss of power 😒 I love watching how much love you put in to all the cars!! Blessings love B,🐸
ОтветитьWhy are you surprised anyone would paint his 540 with home depot paint, most think they are apes sitting on a rock flying towards nowhere for no reason.
ОтветитьExcellent work!
ОтветитьWear safety glasses/goggles when using steam cleaners. The high heated water pressure can blind you if it's accidentally splatters into your eyes. Also, using a clothes iron can remove wrinkles and creases in leather as automotive manufacturers do this in their premium leather seats during upholstery.
ОтветитьOh no, you spray painted the carpet 😢😮🤦♂️
Ответитьso by "totally destroyed" you mean dirty and worn.....
ОтветитьThis is remarkable. Awesome channel.
Ответитьthis is a perfect example how not to fix a bmw , I guess I watch to much m539...
ОтветитьYou should collab with ammo nyc
ОтветитьThanks for this insane videos. I have E39 528i touring. My BMW is very good condition, but i wanna make perfect because i love E39
ОтветитьRestitch that Wheelskins steering wheel cover, and it should present much better. They are pretty good quality (and priced accordingly).
ОтветитьWhat a phenomenal job you did, WoW! I love how it turned out.
ОтветитьI really like how you go the extra mile to make something as good as it can be, without emptying your wallet in the process, nor worrying about spending more time & energy to get the result
ОтветитьWhat Is the brand of the steamer?
ОтветитьMy c pillar reading light doors not light up, when I open the door, need to manual turn on, do you know how to make it when the door open and light up?
Ответитьprevious owner 🧑🏽🦯👀
ОтветитьNight and day difference in those seats and carpet, looks amazing!!!!
ОтветитьThis is the reason why I never would dye anything in a car. Even finished this car looks like shit. Better than before, yes, but nothing like original. I can't understand the guy that started this all.
ОтветитьAlex, this was a more than impressive transformation. Most of us viewers are or should be capable of duplicating this to some degree. Finding and recognizing the underlying beauty of the car is not something everyone can do. The mechanical transformations you have come up with I find very interesting, but the visual transformation here is a bit magical.
ОтветитьPropobly everyone tells You " Plz do it with my car" But please do it with my car :3 hehe just kidding. I really love watching Your work
ОтветитьI’d like to change the color of my seat belts but they’re black so that’s not gonna happen
Ответитьamazing video and i watched the previous one too of the seat restoration
its pretty alarming to think the criminal who owned this car before could actually drive as well as paint (badly) - i mean i know too well that folk out there have no mind to take things apart and maybe cannot use tools (with lower intelligence than a chimp) and folk like myself who have no issue at all, grab a hammer and rip things to pieces - but you think that someone with half a brain cell (i'm being generous) might use the power of speech and actually ask a friend (or make one up, search on Google) and ask for assistance to disassemble the interior to paint it properly (or at least better) the mind boggles
as a stickler for detail that interior scares me, what was going through this chaps mind, is he now in prison for inflicting his works on others - so wish he would step forward and hold his head high in shame
while i have no issue taking things apart and making ready to restore, it be nice to find samples of other folk doing it and proving the products they use, seeing is believing, that's pretty much why i am here - acrylic
i guess the vandal who did this amazing work used some water based products, (seeing you jet wash of) there are many good products out there that seem to be near bullet proof against many spirit based cleaners and products, i see it used more and more within the aviation world but i would have no idea what products work best, i would need to find a tin and then its fact sheet, but again seeing is believing
i wonder if the old VAX cleaners would work better on the carpet (not sure if they use steam though), wash as you vacuum, and save using separate devices
Sweet 🎉
ОтветитьBest way to restore the seat belt release button is careful application heat with a heat gun.
ОтветитьDoes your brother or cousin runs the exotic hacks channel?
ОтветитьI would say, what a 'extravaganza' respect.
ОтветитьThis passes as restoration? I’ve seen 3 year olds handling a spray can better than you do. It’s horrific what you did to this car. It’s a shame a car like this didn’t end up with someone who knows what they are doing
ОтветитьThat two-toneing of the light tan with the brown looks spectacular. BMW should have offered it. Just spectacular.
Ответитьyou can use super clean degrees. More easy 👍🏾👍🏾 u welcome
ОтветитьUgly! Did not increase the value.
ОтветитьΔωσε 20€ σε εναν Αλβανό να στο καθαρίσει
ОтветитьWork u did on dying seats -Clyde’s great customer service 👍🏻
ОтветитьCan see tons of dust still there after you cleaned
ОтветитьI just saved myself 150 buuuucksss
ОтветитьNot keen on the whole brown idea but those seats came out beautifully! Love that combo of the cream leather and deep green exterior, very classy 90's retro, you don't see that combo on modern cars at all. I will check out those leather products, the seats in my E60 could do with a bit of love and if they worked on THOSE seats then they should have mine looking factory fresh!
Ответитьnice - cant believe you can clean that up
ОтветитьExcellent work
ОтветитьIdk how it works in states, but in russia very easier to buy used oem parts. I’m restoring interior in a 2004 e60 and i bought oem used black interior plastic for a 2-4$ for a piece. Oem used black carpet costs around 50$ and seat covers around 10$ for a piece. All transforming from a gray to two tone black-beige interior cost me aroung 400$ include electric beige sport seats
ОтветитьFYI, you only have one video in your E39 playlist and this video isn't it.
ОтветитьI like Super Clean with a steamer and a microfiber towel with car carpets. Not a fan of painting the carpets. I think they could had been cleaned better to look even.
ОтветитьI was surprised he didn't remove the carpet & seatbelts, but cosmetically!?? This is ASTONISHING. I'm still in disbelief. These results would've been impressive had he just been dealing with typical wear of 23 years. But to restore it to these results after an IDIOT painted them?? ... with freaking ... PAINT!?? Simply astonishing.
ОтветитьNew carpetplease
ОтветитьGreat vid! For anybody planning to use Tuff Stuff, WEAR GLOVES! says right on the can - Reproductive harm and Cancer
