Where did you get the v part wig?
ОтветитьI swear this popped up at the right time. I have very thick, dense, waist length hair, and staying natural has been too much work for me.
ОтветитьWhat kind of terrible stylists are being seen that they cannot keep hair healthy WITH a relaxer. That’s nonsense that they are mutually exclusive. You can have healthy relaxed hair. It’s a personal choice. Natural hair most definitely needs more interaction and some women simply can’t or don’t want to do it. That does not mean their hair is not healthy because it’s relaxed. Ive done both and in both styles my hair was healthy and growing. There are ups and downs to both styles. Do what works for you personally!
ОтветитьCan you please do a video on all the perm box models never actually ever having a perm!! They all had good silk presses lol
ОтветитьIf you really want to be a straight natural , just do henna treatment until your curl pattern is completely loose . ( be careful if you’re protein sensitive )
ОтветитьI've been trying to grow my hair forever. All it does is tangle.
ОтветитьIsn’t being a straight hair natural just as damaging? I know relaxed permanently alters your bonds, but isn’t being a straight hair natural damaging to the cuticle? (IM not hating I’m just curious)
ОтветитьPlease bw be a straight natural if u thinking about relaxers
ОтветитьThank you for the video! Can you let us know where your u-part wig is from?
ОтветитьAmen, low porosity. No protein, please!
ОтветитьRelaxer completely destroyed my natural hair.
ОтветитьI was this close 🤏🏾 to relaxing my hair again and then this video popped up 😂 I’m gonna research this more before I make a decision but thank you for giving me another option that I didn’t think about!
ОтветитьThis was posted just in time. I was so close to getting a relaxer because straight hair is easier for me to maintain.
ОтветитьBeing a straight hair natural would never work for me.
ОтветитьNew subbie! ♥️
ОтветитьYeah I feel like I couldn’t understand why people didn’t make their kids a straight natural instead of relaxed. Straight natural has only one difference in perception and it’s whether you call your hair “heat damaged” or “heat trained”. It takes the same amount of time, if not less, to wash and flat iron your hair compared to getting your roots touched up with relaxer. Like I was a straight natural basically my whole life and if you always wear your hair straight, it lowkey is easy to manage because your hair texture will loosen over time if that’s your main concern. It’s better than putting harsh chemicals in your hair and not being able to scratch your scalp, limit if you can dye it or go swimming. Like just make sure you have a good wash and deep conditioning routine with decent/great products and a good style routine like a good blow drying method and a good flat iron. Or go to someone you trust.
ОтветитьI primarily wore my hair in twistouts and braidouts and silk pressed once or twice per year for Thanksgiving and Christmas but want to press my hair more (every 6-8 weeks). You posted this right one time ahead of the NIH saying chemical straighteners are linked to uterine cancer.
ОтветитьThanks for the video! Can you link your V-part wig please?
ОтветитьSo I have low porosity 4c hair. Does heat training change the porosity of hair? If it does & I heat train during the winter months, should I use more high porosity products in the winter & more low porosity products in the summer?
ОтветитьI want to be a straight natural just to wear Vpart and upart wigs
ОтветитьNatural for many years then relaxed Oct '21 til my last retouch Aug '22.
Either overprocessing or overlapping caused my hair to shed like crazy, new stylist said it was "melting".
Anyway, not bald but she cut it cute retaining length mostly in the front, it's in a bob.
She said my hair is too fine for relaxers (and low porosity), to simply heat-train my hair.
And in her salon suite I've been getting steam unlike the other stylist, quality products and tools like Dyson etc.
I'm grateful.
Honestly my hair grows the longest with a relaxer. I love the ease of it. I'm transitioning to straight natural for a scalp-healthy routine.
ОтветитьWhat v part wig would you recommend?
ОтветитьHi could you tell me a protein treatment for high porosity hair
ОтветитьThe hardest part for me is keeping my hair straight when I take a short. I hate cutting my shower short due to being straight natural…:( I’m so co flirted between being straight natural and relaxed.
ОтветитьHeat training is old school.
ОтветитьThis is where I'm at I was straight natural for years then stopped after moving south. My curls tighten and I proudly was in my glory. Length makes it more difficult to deal with. I'm a new mom and have no time.
ОтветитьGlad I found this video. I’m transitioning now
ОтветитьI will push the 3 weeks wash and DC. However I’ll blow dry mostly no silk pressing except for maybe in the winter or around the holidays
ОтветитьIs it o.k. if a person is natural hair to get their hair trimmed every 3 months.
ОтветитьWhat do you think about the curl smith bond builder treatment compared to olaplex no 3? Is it a good equivalent, or should I stick to olaplex? I bought it on sale from ulta and don't want it to go to waste if possible😅 lol
ОтветитьI’m so glad you mentioned eating healthy
ОтветитьNot everything she says I agree with. reasonable information thanks.
ОтветитьExcellent advice 🙂
ОтветитьNew Subscriber! Great video it was very detailed.
ОтветитьI think I’m about to become a straight natural. I have several different curl patterns and wearing wash and goes doesn’t work for me. Also, my curls tangle sooooooo badly it’s not even worth it. I think I may do more regular blow dried styles than presses tho. I do trim my hair 3+ times a year… as needed. You offered great advice. And seeing that this is more of a thing makes me feel better about doing it. I don’t like the idea of potentially changing my curl pattern… But like I said, it’s not the same throughout my head, so it’s not like I would ever just get to wear my natural curls anyway(not and be happy with it lol). Thanks again!
Ответить❤❤❤
Ответитьmy hair gets silky flat iron but still stiff, no matter how much or little product or heat setting, doesn’t flow at all. that’s the only reason i don’t do this
ОтветитьI also am a heat trained natural I mostly wear natural styles but im transitioning to wearing my hair straight the majority of the time. Wash n go's were tearing up my hair personally and I have multi textured hair its much easier to maintain in a blown out or straightened state. The only natural style I do is braid outs everything else is a no for my hair.
ОтветитьI wish i could be a straight hair natural but my hair is so thin😢
ОтветитьIn South Africa, I have not seen a flat iron that’s more than 235 degrees and I hear you talking about 400
ОтветитьYou really ain't lying!!
ОтветитьHow to moisturize your hair without it reverting
ОтветитьKenra makes a good shampoo.
ОтветитьWhat protein treatments would you recommend?
ОтветитьI am trying to transition from relaxer to straight natural and used a v part wigs after taking my braids downand waiting for my next braid appointment. My new growth (6 months post) reverted in 2 hours of Texas humidity. This is a constant thing and I feel so discouraged. What should I do?
ОтветитьGreat tips! I even created a great keratin serum to maintain my ends and occasional scalp.
ОтветитьThe link for the course doesn't work!
