Japanese traditional food looks too simple for me. I'm sorry but I can't eat boiled rice even with some toppings. But I love it as a side dish or dish called Plov or Paloov. You cook special rice together with meat and tons of fried onion and carrot.

I spoon my matcha into a cup, pour in hot water, some oat milk and done. I dont have time for an entire ceremony to make it.

I try to keep it simple for breakfast (oatmeal and tea) but I'm incorporating more Japanese food into my diet like miso.

I'm from the US and here is our daily menu;
Breakfast - McDonalds drive thru
Lunch - Fried chicken place drive thru
Mid day snack - Back to McD's drive thru
Dinner - Dominoes pizza delivered and ice cream

I'm just joking, but I'll bet a large percentage of the population actually had that today!
