Why is it when Fiona or cake touches something it resets to what it was before? Like does it have to do with something of them not being in that universe? So it just becomes something that has no magic.

I'm seeing people in the comments comparing the Winter King's rule to the PB's, and I feel like people are taking the former at face value. The Winter Kingdom and the ice people in it (especially Ice Marceline) just feels very fake, and I'm worried about what else Winter King had done for the sake of preserving his fantasy world.

What i find interesting is that this PB is more elementally intuned than the PB we know. She just made a lollipop badge out of thin air.

So winter king dies instantly when losing magic
But our Simon still has like an entire day before dying when he loses magic

It's weird how quickly he died after the magic wore off compared to our ice king who took a good bit before he would have died

First thing PB did after waking up was kiss a woman.
Granted it was the in the same way she kisses Finn’s cheek but still, Fiona’s an adult woman

PB was chill about it because she knew it was 100% deserved, and I'm pretty sure the writers made it that way with the intention of the viewers thinking that she thought she deserved it/had it coming.
