Just like the drama of the carbon fiber sub imploding, trying to see the titanic, and the movie. This is hard to watch. Great job, trying.
ОтветитьWheres the demon?!!!!!
ОтветитьI bet the time and chain let go at a very high RPM
ОтветитьA 3.25 pulley makes around 10 psi,
ОтветитьThe wrist pin on top of the piston 😮wtf? How?!
ОтветитьYou got ripped off
ОтветитьSo you take a LS1 built from GM to handle around 400 HP and put a supercharger on it upping the HP to around 600 and you wonder why the engine blew apart. it's most likely the engine blew pumping hot engine oil all over the cars and igniting and with the car being mostly fiberglass and plastic it burned up..
ОтветитьLooks fantastic. Nice job
ОтветитьBeen four months since I saw the dodge demon rebuild where it at????
ОтветитьValve float
ОтветитьI understand that's the value of the parts you're selling, but you have to wait to find buyers, i doubt one person is going to buy everything. If you can afford to wait for your return i guess that wouldn't be a problem
ОтветитьDamn, that engine damage is impressive.
ОтветитьBlown up engine, most insurance companies won't cover it, even with full coverage. Fire damage causing a "total loss" and full coverage, most insurance companies pay out.
Even if the adjuster were to see the hole in the engine block, which they probably would not because they are there to inspect fire damage, they would still cover the car and pay the policy holder.
The cheese is thick and stinky with this one, and it’s even yellow. Must be a subconscious thing. 😂
ОтветитьSoooo what was the labor cost on this one? 😜 Assuming no YT revenue…
ОтветитьHey is that,,,SMOKED tint on that glass??😂😂😂😂 lmfao!!! Jeez
ОтветитьSo you blew 6k😂
ОтветитьWait, am I watching I Do Cars?
ОтветитьHe was floating valves, either with RPM or boost pressure, or both
ОтветитьYour dodge demon is sick! good job Lee!❤❤❤
ОтветитьGreat breakdown video💪
ОтветитьThe salvage life you wind some and you lose some and a lot of time but that’s how it goes
ОтветитьHey can I get the front right inner fender flare off you?
ОтветитьCars are pain
ОтветитьWell, that was entertaining...
ОтветитьThe type of blower isn't enough information to determine how much power it's going to make. How much power it's going to make depends on the tuning, and the type of engine that it's attached to, then the type of exhaust and intake that are on that engine, type of feul and size of injectors, and a bunch of other factors. What you should be asking is how many pounds per square inch pressure we can expect for that blower to be able to produce (depending on what your blow off valve weight is set to).
So again, yeah, not really enough information to tell you how much power you're going to make, but drawing from personal experience I CAN tell you that you should be able to get pretty much any decent V8 engine producing between 500 and 600 horsepower reliably, before any real issues start cropping up, then around 700 (depending on displacement, etc) while constantly running the chance of blowing something apart.
If you decide to choose a tuning more than 600, make sure that your engine has all of the strongest internals that you can possibly find, because after 600, 650, at higher rpm's, that blower is going to want to blow that engine apart, regardless of any of the engine details, or how it was built out.
Did Tim just try to give you Tree Fiddy.....Hes that got damn Loch Ness Monster....
ОтветитьDemon doesn't have a Roots, it has a Whipple.
ОтветитьProlly somebody having a mid-life crisis and had the engine pinned at or near redline for an extended period - prolly doing a burnout
Ответитьhey scraplife team i was just curious. I live in the Detroit area and was wondering if car salvaging is a consistent profit, or is it like stocks where you gain and loose money. my friend and i have been wanting to do this for a while and have been considering it. If we decide to do it., do you have any tips and tricks that yall can give us to get a good start on all of this? BTW... If you respond thank you so much.
ОтветитьYou can deliver it to me 😂 I’m on Kentisiland so I’m close to yall at least, I’ll give you $3 for it 😂
ОтветитьCk timing chain
ОтветитьI guess they don't come with rev limiters yikes what engine damage! Talk about grenading!! That was very exciting when it blew. Shitty oil oci too what an idiot. Great video!!
ОтветитьGuessing a money shift lead to super high rpms and a ton of boost too so everything in the engine made a unanimous decision to not.
ОтветитьI f hate this s hole paying 6k for that shit . F everyone life looking for a ls
Ответитьnice passenger door
ОтветитьSuper professional Mr. Lee C! Guys all over E-Bay, Craigslist, Facebook Market selling Corvette "screws, nuts, bolts basic JUNK you can buy at Lowes or HD. As you said, "dead inventory". I wonder how the people in some of those wrecks survived after looking at those cars. One of your great strengths is your crew and your tenacity to stay focused.
ОтветитьMy guess was as soon as one of the pistons let go, everything met such high resistance that it jumped time causing even more collisions smashing everything to bits. Not very knowledgeable on ls motors though, so probably way off. Gotta love someone who had that much misplaced faith that a stock block would hold up to that much abuse.
Ответитьjust found this channel and i have to say i love the way this guy things, need more people like this in the world.
ОтветитьWin some lose some
ОтветитьI'm a new follower Fernando and You are hilarious.
ОтветитьToo much boost for a stock motor
ОтветитьThis is what happens when you don’t gap the rings for boost !!!!😂
ОтветитьYou gotta love them LS,'S Lee
ОтветитьThink the driver said all the bald eagle & send it to heck , praise Dale
ОтветитьYou guys make me wish I had friends.
ОтветитьCan you say all the boost? Lol
ОтветитьI know the government has trained you to think that a handkerchief will stop everything from hepatitis to covid, but you really need to get yourself a proper respirator.
Health is wealth, my friend!
