Why does no one ever talk about his previous on the job injury. He was stabbed in the knee with an ice pick. He was prescribed painkillers, it was a lingering injury which made him limp. Going through his records he looks to me like a person who is shopping Doctors the rest of his life for painkillers. Interestingly he was disciplined once for missing a radio call while in a doctor's office. Also, once a shotgun was stolen out of his patrol car while he was in a bar.

All this choreography reminds me of the staging of the Mary Meyer murder.
