I really like how you notice little technical aspects of the singing and instrumentation here. I'm not so good at picking up on that sort of thing, so it's nice to hear you point it out. I'd love to see more Hozier reactions. He has three albums, including that first self titled one you mentioned listening to. Wasteland Baby is the second album and Unreal Unearth is the third. They're all definitely worth a listen, he doesn't have a bad song, but personally I like Unreal Unearth the best. The songs on this EP and the Unheard EP were actually material he cut from that album.
