He can’t win on the PGA tour so why not go somewhere else, where you can make more money.

I am excited for Tony and Potentially Ricky to move. LIV has a significant role to play in the global game of golf. I am also hopeful to end the cold war between the leagues and get some rules of engagement opened up for cross league play.

Money talks. History and prestige mean nothing. Players do not have to EARN the way that they have in the past. These are the times that we are living in. All that matters is marketing and how pretentious you’re able to be.

Invariably, what ends up happening, is the caliber of play will decline because the incentive is not as great.

When is LIV going to cultivate their own talent pool? They have been vocal about "growing the game" and follow that up by poaching players from other tours.

Not unexpected Tony 8s huge family plan and kids are playing junior events and he wants to be there and liv affords him that option and his play doesn't matter he will be paid to show up yes he loves to compete but live would allow him to be more around his family

Doubt LIv would have any interest in Fowler if they weren’t interested in someone like Jason Day when he approached them, players like Tony and Wyndham would probably interest them, Viktor and Hideki would be game changers, Would be interesting how many years/majors Viktor and Tony are currently exempt considering they haven’t won a major yet

PGA tour just made an absolute mess. Jay is basically turning it into the same thing as liv with pif funding. Might as well go play liv although the liv product is absolutely terrible. They made a joke of regular pga events not meaning anything but liv events mean even less. Greed has ruined golf.

Why would Tony finau go to LIV?
Bro!
The man has a large family and if LIV can provide guaranteed money to secure their financial freedom plus providing him more time with his kids and lovely shortie, why not?
PGA Tour get your act together before you go the route of the dodo.

Jay was not the man to carry this! The National League, and the American League worked it out. The NFL and the AFL worked it out. The ABA and the NBA worked it out. All were better for it. The PGA Tour and LIV should have worked it out.

Your logic makes sense for Tom Kim and Rickey. For Tony, I’m sure he got a HUGE signing bonus and being the family man that he is, he’ll have more time with his family and a lump of cash in the bank. First off, I’m a PGA fan. When I watch LIV, it appears to be watered down. The guys don’t seem as sharp. I hope it all works out for all the players involved. Thanks for sharing.
