What's in Magic: The Gathering Foundations Beginner Box?!

I loved the idea of this set, but it's really sad that it's not available in portuguese.

This seems pretty nice to start, the playmats are pretty much like a board game maybe this will replace the “game night bundle”?

So there are no “instant-play decks” but instead just 8 jumpstarts to make decks right? 🤔

im guessing that the cards are the same in every beginneer box? This is my first time seeing it, ive only read about it so far and i thought the jump start decks would be individually packaged, so im just wondering if its the same cards for every box? ive been playing magic on console and arena for years, but i wanna give paper commander a go. Ive been tempted to drop £40 on the jump scare deck, but i think im going to get the starter collection box instead, not sure wheter to pick up this begginer box also..

None of this will have any impact on me because I suck at MTG, I play MTG Arena as Magic Bob Poverington (aka POVO) and I am the WORST MTG player who has ever lived. I win about 1 game in every 100 and hence I deserve a nobel prize as an encouragement award 🙂

My very first Commander deck I built is my ultimate Angel Deck and right now I’m very close to perfecting it even further WITH THESE NEW ANGELS COMING FROM FOUNDATIONS OMG!

The "playmats" are a bit better than i thought they would be but they are still likely to fall apart after a few games. I'd also have prefered if the jumpstart decks were individually wrapped.

Ok, after freeze framing your video on the books for the first game play by play instructions, I spotted a major issue for that first game: the decks are BACKWARDS!!! When you open the decks, the cards you’re supposed to draw are the ones facing you when looking at the cards, which means they’re on the bottom of the deck…

too bad they didn't include arena codes so that they're playable on arena like almost all the other starter kit products they have made. decent value for $30 but without arena codes I will not buy any of it

This is such a cool idea for a box !

I work with some folks with some acquired brain injuries. Several of them are capable of learning this game, and this beginner box has me so happy! lol...I picked it up from my lgs not knowing anything about it. I'm thrilled! The step by step books with the super simple cat/vampire decks are fantastic...and I wasn't expecting the quality of the playmats/boards...so cool! Even the box is of nice quality!

kiato has replaced jace and im 1000% here for it, but honestly these kits will be so fun for new and old players honestly, ill be buying 2 of them for shits and giggles. especially if anybidy ever wants to get into the game and try it out!
