I love firefight, hopefully it comes to matchmaking! Winter event is sweet, a little bad though since the best armor coating you have to pay for. They should give us amazing items for time to time…still nice we get free items in general though!

this is the type of thing that a bigger company like nintendo would punish players for, because it will compete with the official griffball that was planned, or some bullshit. i guess its a good thing its made in forge.

Grifball is made with the assault game mode. Assault is basically you're generic bomb defusal mechanic. It took 343 7 years to make this gamemode.

Counter Strike's Half Life mod made by 2 people had this in 2000.

The gravity hammers really needs nerfing because it’s just dumb u can’t kill somebody from a few yards when in the other games u have to get really close to kill them.

It's not true Grifball with the horribly slow swing of Infinite's Gravity Hammer compared to the less-AOE, faster-swinging hammer of previous Halo games.

Microsoft is terrible, all Halo Credit in-game purchases are final is BS. Hiding behind in-game currency is scum, now I am going to have spent more money in order to get the next Battle Pass. This is why I hate in-game stores.

Why add random shit on the arenas, the sword and hammer is enough to make the game interesting even in a blank arena lol

The Infinite grav hammer sucks though. You can't use it to boost your own jumps or anything.

one thing i noticed from the gameplay. [maybe because they haven't found the setting yet] is why no infinite equipment? (it was added to the mid-season patch)

Mint Blitz it would be awesome if you could talk about the Firefight gamemodes, I think that we should be having it on it's own Is separated category from the multiplayer, like right under the campaign slot or the multiplayer on the main menu.
I know it's really important but would be really nice getting into the game and seeing this.

Off topic but i kinda just realized while watching some infinite videos that there hasnt been any AI related content in any of the past 3 seasons. Ik lots of people turn it off and im quite happy with the super intendant but i just thought it was weird

When they pushed the network change out to the workshop squad battles, they reverted some code somewhere to a season 2 version. I think it's what causes that heavy feeling the h5 netcode has. I've been getting ranked games with diamond players, so it's matching on mmr and not csr again, I've gotten the audio glitch twice, where all you can hear are grenade bounces, this only existed in season 2. And servers have been so desync'd I have been up to a second behind the server, getting insta-killed by 5 rounds, having kills not show in feed till we'll after they happen, players staying still and zipping around.

As the captain of one of the finalist teams in the very first Grifball league way back in the day (shoutout to the Separate Intelligence homies) I'm so ecstatic we finally have a Grifball mode again. May the legacy of the community involvement that made Halo more than just a game, but a shared experience, live on. After all...Spartans never die.

I am probably a fan that likes the OG one and am a little sad that there is not friendly fire in griftball, but there is something about having a chieftain as a goalie that brings a smile to my face
