ОтветитьThat hat makes you look like you're bald and wearing a headband.
ОтветитьGreat tips and recommendations, thanks for giving us the inside tour of iTunes' No. 1 bestselling podcast!
Ответитьhi i am just starting to get into a tennis podcast i want to do this is informitive but still i am not that tech savy but would like to do it as simple as i can if you do it remotely as you do is cool or if you do from home do you need speakers to hook up as well just wondering one of the more simple ways to start one on a somewhat low budget. But the more i research the more confusing it can be in a way. But this is very good to see anyway
Brian
How long does it take to prep for one podcast?
ОтветитьAmazing info to work with thanks Tim!
ОтветитьSecond time watching I love this tonnnns of notes!
ОтветитьThx Tim this is GREAT! Do u have any updates in this Zoom age? Thx so much. HUGE fan for yrs. live the 5 bullits
ОтветитьMany thanks! Love ya!
ОтветитьThanks for this tutorial. I share your link with coaching clients who are beginning the march over the cliff into open space of podcasting their own show. I like the implicit gift you give, too showing people your walking from wound to wisdom.
ОтветитьWhat laptop does Tim use? What's the best laptop for podcasting and content creation?
ОтветитьThanks, Tim!
Ответитьi only clicked because i wondered why is that bald man wearing a black headband to talk about podcasting? does he interview basketball players? will he talk to kobe about eagle, co? does prp actually work or was the heavy lifting done by the front desk clerk at the hotel?
ОтветитьGreat info, thanks! But where'd you get the hat?
ОтветитьThink its worth mentioning the average prices for these things
1. SD cards
2. microphone - YellowTech + backup batteries & SD cards $800 - $1000
3. Zoom device + batteries $350 - $450
4. XLR cables & MANY backup cables (connectors fail) - for one XLR $10 to $20
5. microphone - lavaliere and/or handheld (Sure brand SM58 $60-70)
6. microphone backups (2 more, Sure brand) as above
7. microphone and stand (Audio Technica 2100 with both XLR & USB options) $100
8. eCam Call Recorder.$40
Is the theory to practice just a few minutes each day and the re-test the baseline? Then build the practice time? When you go back to read for comprehension ... back at base?
ОтветитьThat bag is like from a magician who pulls out one bunny after another
ОтветитьReally helpful. Thank you!
ОтветитьHold on while I show you my laptop. What?
ОтветитьHi there, Great video. Thank you. Just a quick question, is it okay to use the Shure SM58 mics without stands? The mics we currently have make a lot of noise if they are touched while recording with the H6. We set them up and tell our guests just to speak into them and not touch them. But you can hold and talk into the SM58s while recording?
ОтветитьI would love to see an update video on your new Podcast setup. From your newer videos it appears you have upgraded your video to 3 cameras and have modified your audio setup. I see that you are using the Dynamic microphones and also lavalier microphones at the same time. I would to know what you are using.
ОтветитьDoes sitting on the sofa to record whilst holding a mic not pick up background noise from sofa etc? Or do you use a boom to hold the mics?
Ответитьpretty cool info
ОтветитьWhat equipment are you using today...2 years later???
ОтветитьTim I just have to ask - how do you (or your assignee), de-dust that giant (and lovely) dust catcher hanging on the wall behind you?
ОтветитьSome great tips to help bring my podcast to the next level!
ОтветитьThis is the best podcasting advice video out there!
ОтветитьTLDR: Pack 2 of everything.
ОтветитьThought he was wearing a headband the whole time
Ответить+1 for the video setup. This video uses two cameras... how do you jump back and forth between video?
ОтветитьTook me a while to realize he wasn't wearing a headband.
ОтветитьI am experiencing an OCD attack just looking at the lack of organisation in this bag. Anyway, awesome video, thank you man. PS - Glad to help out with some bag recommendations and organisational tips.
ОтветитьTim why wouldnt you put links in the description so people could research and buy these products
ОтветитьHi Tim. I'm starting a podcast for authors and this video is helping me a lot on the setup and prep work. I have one question: what media hosting website do you use to upload your podcast files? Thanks.
ОтветитьAudio does not match video.
ОтветитьHello Tim, nice video, got some insights, what lavaliere do you use in the video? Is not easier with lavaliere then physical mic?
ОтветитьBeen reading your books and listening to your voice for 6 years. This is the first time I am watching a video with you in it. Funny right?
ОтветитьAny chance of doing a video setup video? Camera, camera settings, lights, etc?
Ответитьthanks or this video - jonathan katz a.k.a. dr. katz
ОтветитьPreparation is the key and always have a backup.
ОтветитьGreat video! Thanks for the insight Tim
