“I didn’t tell him I wrote a script to do it all automatically”
4 butting control+c= copy control+v = paste
A $10k raise is the big win here 😂 what a joke
ОтветитьI’m pretty sure that’s just IT
ОтветитьWhat app is the first one
ОтветитьWhat the game it looks fun the ball one
ОтветитьThe first game name?
Ответитьand then everyone clapped
ОтветитьGame
ОтветитьThis is totally normal. The useful people who do all the work make no money. The more worthless and less able you are the more money you make all the way up to the boss who is a totally idiot and has no idea what is happening at all. He just signs the checks.
ОтветитьNooooooo
ОтветитьOh i how i would have liked that the 'Sergeant' wasn't fired buy rather demoted and she could rub it in his face😂.
ОтветитьThe boss may have been involved may not. But chaos reigning when you leave justifies FF being kicked out and you dont need a lot of pull to get a well justified decision made
ОтветитьThe only thing that doesn’t make sense is that why would an employee with the title “Helper” make an auditor the point of contact. Wouldn’t it be some of her other colleagues?
ОтветитьTurning off automations will get attention faster than anythg in the world.
If they are not going to listen to you, they will listen to the sound of 5 employees busy doing what was automated, and cant do their daily task, faster than anything.
100%.
Every automation you set up, keep it to yourself for this exact scenario.
Thats when they will give a raise.
If you do it, show them, and show how many hours you are saving the company at that time, they will just say 'oh thanks. Send that code to me. And here is a free pizza for all your hard work "
They will not offer a raise, and say they can't afford a raise.
But when they realize they cant afford to have 5 employees doing automated work, they will magically find the money is available to you.
.
Having 100% control of your automation that you wrote to save the company money, is the same as writing code for a website and charging a small fee every month as if it's residual income; it's just in the form of employment.
I Don't charge extra for the code, and in turn, I keep my job. And I Will continue to improve your business.
Win. Win.
Good story, but thats all. A story, not real
Ответить10k is a slap in the face honestly
ОтветитьIm only asking whats the First Game colled
ОтветитьI was recently turned down for a job interview with a small staff large output company. While I chatted with the person who would have become my boss I watched how she did an order form. She had written everything from the email into word then cut and taped the words onto the form… I was sitting there mentally screaming thinking of at least 3 ways to make it more efficient and professional. The big boss even seemed excited by my certification in Microsoft excel and said they have to use it but no one there really knows how. I saw some other things too but that would start making the company possibly obvious.
Most of the people there were much older than me. I suspect I was turned down due to my age as well as looking about 10 years younger than my actual age. They are a successful company and will do well without me of course. But if a person in for an interview can see so many improvements in efficiency and resources in just a 10 minute chat…
I also found out from my current manager that they never even called her for a reference
My response would have been if you fire me this company will plunge into chaos
ОтветитьGame name?
ОтветитьW aura
ОтветитьWhy was the voice going high pitch in the end
ОтветитьHealing my attention span😂
ОтветитьWhat is the name of the game at the beginning of the video
Ответитьye this defo happened
Ответить1st Game name?
ОтветитьSo true. IT people are beyond underrated. Everytime my computer stops, I almost get a panic attack.
ОтветитьYou came back with only $10K raise? You should have been making 60K a year at least so I hope that raise brought you to that! The skills you listed are corporate system management skills. That job is $250K at a lot of hospitals and law firms not to mention corporate America. 😂😅
ОтветитьHoly cow the comments about 10K like it's a lot of money. ROFLMFAO 😅
ОтветитьYou dont need a script. Ctrl+A Ctrl+C Ctrl+V
ОтветитьIt's not suspicious, because when the whole company goes to shit. His superiors will realize
Ответить10k 😮
ОтветитьAh yes, a 10k raise
Ответитьsome people like to slack so they write scripts to automate their work so they can slack.
not realizing people will pay you to find ways of automating work. Don’t just sell to the individual level sell to the business level.
Praising this man for being a good boss is a stretch, y'all. He was covering his own ass, that's it. I'm glad OP got a good raise, she deserves it! But also, that boss isn't special or impressive. Like OP said, it's suspicious how boss was letting it slide until he realized OP was jumping ship. If he was a good boss, it would have never gotten to that point.
ОтветитьHahahaha. Is this person me? Minus i dont get the happy ending. Lol.
ОтветитьWay to stick up for yourself! Kudos 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Ответить$10k as a raise is a $5/hr raise for 40hr a week for 50 week in a year.
That's not that crazy.
Esspecially if they realized that they'd lose a million dollars if they left, not to mention the tens of thousands of dollars needed to replace them and train replacements (it would 100% take more than 2 others to replace her).
Point is, $10k a year for a raise is worth the $50k minimum to replace her on people that might not even sty. That again, isn't mentioning the hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions to completely change their systems and operations as they had no access to the automation.
this is NOT real life. Like in a dream hopefully but every boss I’ve ever seen and worked for would hire new employees instead of some nursery home pick up. Which would prevent this whole thing from happening. And even if that didn’t happen, a real boss wouldn’t just welcome you back.
Ответитьhorrible voice.
ОтветитьHe probably only had the pull to fire him after because of the evidence of what goes wrong without the OP
ОтветитьHaving such a minor thing become a roast in an evaluation was so relatable.
ОтветитьBro fit all this in a short, this is like 3 minutes ong
Ответитьwhat is the name of this game i need it
ОтветитьCan't the boss just hire someone to automatic stuff then fire you it seems more economical
ОтветитьWasn’t job hunting, just being petty and rightfully so
I absolutely love pettyness
I mostly paid attention to the backround, can someone tell me the games they were playing? 😅
ОтветитьWhat's the new title?
ОтветитьWhat is the game called played in my the beginning
ОтветитьNot pull proof all the wasted time and missed deadlines would have been proof positive of your talent and asset to the company. By forcing them to revert back to the old way of doing things you showed them how wrong they were.
Ответить
