What can i say except this tune is beautifull!! There will never be another Jerry Byrd!! He is the master of the steel!!

JERRY BYRD, of course, at a time that he was the busiest. His fabulous steel guitar back-up and solo's have never been equaled. The Rickenbacher Bakelite on the album cover is his 7-string model, altho' he started his career with the six string model. Jerry disclosed to me on one occasion that he wished he could reunite with original Ric as he loved the tone so very much.

Thanks for the Comment. I wish they could retire that Piano player and put more space for the steel guitar. I never understood the need for a piano in these type of songs when Jerry Byrd is around.

Indeed...piano only for "backing"rhythm chordal support IMHO.

I thought that Hawhshaw was the centre of attention,he has a very very clear voice , seldom heard today.
