Mr. Mingyur, what are the kinds of awareness, if there is such a thing? Clearly, pure awareness is at the top of the hierarchy if there is such, but is it just a matter of more and more awareness?(quantity here seems to be synonymous with clarity-- more awareness, means more clear) My question is just, is there one kind of awareness and just different quantities? Or are there different *kinds*? Thank you.

I think I understood the first part, about compassion and wisdom, but no so much the second, about what he explains as conceptual mind.

I agree that compassion has its limits and should not be wasted on those that truly do not deserve it. That is where wisdom and decrement is necessary. The rest of what he said was hard to untangle.

I think I m mourning. Since I wrote you a lot of my old favorite music came back. A video of my dance teacher from Ukraine killed in war. A video of a classical guitar Arii Arongo dead really young. And most of all my next door neighbor Rose and her daughter. I knew them for 17 yrs before they overdosed. Rose had a 4 yr old grand daughter named Arianne.
She was a precious sweet little girl. She never had anything. Rose and her daughter were prostitutes and when Arrianne became 4 Rose and her daughter took her virginity on a Sunday morning at 9 am.
We all knew what they did. Arrianne wouldn't let either of them touch her. Finally the gave her fentanyl and gave unconscious to her dad who promptly gave her to family and children's services.
People are really really sick. Rose was hoing to sell her to the highest trafficking bidder. After Rose killed herself and then her daughter did. I just don't feel the same about people things or food.
I didn't realize it bothered me so much. There are probably two other moms who wanted to do that but the molesting of little boys just made them violently crazy and I don't even want to talk to people.
I just can't believe how really sick people here are. Thanks
