Is that a heat lamp, heat lamp is the main cause in death of ducks, my mom and I learned from that mistake, my mom put a heat lamp in the ducks cage or tank, we even put a nice bowl of water in there to cool off, next day the duck died, so my moms new husband told me they have to be in a cool place with food and water. Do not put a heated lamp in there cage or tank, the heat kills them because ducks are a waterfowl type bird not a guinea pig or hamster or lizard
