Things are getting busier on our farm gearing up for the barley harvest then cultivation and ploughing

WoodMAN. Nice video! Good variety, good hang out time. Grew up on a sweet corn farm, I told you that before. I'll just say you've got allot to learn about racoons. They'll eventually learn to reach up and pull your rebar posts down. They look a bit awkward when they're walking but they can jump! We used to put a pile of cat food with a few cans of tuna fish on a 4x4 piece of plywood just a short ways from the corn with a low side tub of water next to it. (They like to wash their food). We'd park my cube van a ways off and lay on top of it with red spotlights and 22's. We'd hear them come in, light em up and lite em up. The red light doesn't scare them but makes the eyes shine and a 22 doesn't make much noise. About the time you get them cleaned up people from town will live trap them to be "humane" and take them out to "the country" to let them go. Making their problem now your problem. Around here that's illegal, we turned in a few pest control companies for moving racoons to our land. It's a war buddy.....gear up. If you have some mean pigs electric fence a pig run around the corn (fence them out of the corn) and turn them out in the run at night when the corn starts getting ripe. Pigs and racoons are not friends 🤣😂🤣. Another good guard animal is mini or full sized donkeys, they are fierce, territorial and are precision kickers. Don't know how they'd be with racoons but when mixed in with cattle or goats they will kick the snot out of Coyotes and bobcats. They bite pretty viciously too.

Before a certain year those popcorn ceilings could have asbestos in them. Get a pump sprayer and soak ceilings area good and the popcorn will scrap right off. Keeps dust down too....
