But now, as the auto market continues to correct, dealers are advertising lending rates that are extraordinarily low, at least lower than I could acquire at a bank or credit union. So, how does the buy/sell difference come into play under these circumstances? What I don't like is the dealer insisting that I have to finance in order to get the manufacturer's rebate. How can I get the rebate and pay cash? Thank you.
ОтветитьI work in Indirect Lending for a large Credit Union, the dealer just uses our Program rates which are the same as if one of our Members went into our branches and applied for a vehicle loan.

Ответитьwhen you were selling cars and told your customer this taking away profit center you would be fired your a turncoat . Make sure you educate customers so the dealer doesn't make a profit. Dealer charge fees evey where for customers that want -2-4k more than a trade than worth an those only pay invoice got it. It's negotiating room . Sure some fees are rediculous just negotiate rhem off rhen when you pay msrp you feel like you got a deal . You sold always enter in your proposal that cost you nothing rule of negotiating. Why don't you talk about that. You are a turncoat !!!! Nothing wrong with profit on rate dealer can't charge more 2 points only get paid 70% it's not thousands of dollars over exaggerates 2 points on 30k not 10000000 on rate misleader keep pounding in why all dealers are crooks guess you were a non discloser all the years you sold turncoat. . Guess you don't like extended service contracts either . Every company has profit centers fees etc why don't you research and expose all companies that make a profit .
