Trash to Cash - High end Cutting Boards out of wood scraps

I've been scavenging hardwoods for a few years now and finally decided to turn them into something worth while. These two boards are mostly walnut but the one was looking pretty rough half way through so I decided to add some strips of ambrosia maple and give it a brick pattern. Turned out really cool I think! The other has a lot of sapwood in it so it has kind of a reptilian pattern. These were a lot of fun to make and cleared up some wood storage space for more scraps!
